Muff 245
What was the point in signing Graeme Smith, he'll never get a game(thankfully)
minstral 5,375
i cant understand signing carroll he is rubbish but then again nothing surprises me what walter does i have seen it all before.
Danny 9
I saw this on SSN and yelled out 'WHY?', thinking Carroll was about 86 and the most stupid signing ever. But actually, he's only 29 and experienced in the Premiership and while he's not the greatest keeper of all time, he's a good backup to AM imo.I'm actually happy enough with this after all.And him being a bluenose (allegedly) does help. snoopyboymason 13
would'nt be surprised if he ended up no1 mcgregor is decent but nothing special

snoopyboymason 13
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=h3pOHohCMHEwonderful keeper, walter has lost his marbles.every keeper has a few clangers the guy has played at a higher level for a better team and our keeper is'nt exactly great so he might end up no1 all our keepers are'nt what we have been used to the last 20 years ut it's what we've got

BlueSuedeSambas 56,359
I have read through 7 pages and seen about 70/30 against this guys...welcome to Rangers Roy, where every player gets a fair crack of the whip before they are judged Every player makes mistakes, it just turns out that goal keeping errors happen to be the most high profile of all blunders....Darchivelle has probably skied shots from 6 yards and missed penalties but this hasn't been mentioned has it?I noticed nobody has posted a video of his qualities yet:http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=eYjVIkEF6nk&...ted&search=At the end of the day we have picked up an esthablished Premiership player for nothing, if it doesn't work on then thats fine it's not going to put a massive dent in our accounts come next March is it? I trust Walters judgement and now we have 3 decent to good goalkeepers plus Robinson out gaining vital experienceMcGregor is still number 1 but, having Carroll as an understudy will hopefully light a rocket up under his ass. This is a no win-no loss situation IMO and provides another option.

Danny 9
I have read through 7 pages and seen about 70/30 against this guys...welcome to Rangers Roy, where every player gets a fair crack of the whip before they are judged Problem is the boo boys remember THAT blunder V Spurs. But hey, do we see them going on about Klos blunder of the same ilk V Panathinaikos? Nah...Every player makes mistakes, it just turns out that goal keeping errors happen to be the most high profile of all blunders....Darchivelle has probably skied shots from 6 yards and missed penalties but this hasn't been mentioned has it?http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=27941A thread I posted about that exact topic.I noticed nobody has posted a video of his qualities yet:http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=eYjVIkEF6nk&...ted&search=At the end of the day we have picked up an esthablished Premiership player for nothing, if it doesn't work on then thats fine it's not going to put a massive dent in our accounts come next March is it? This is a no win-no loss situation IMO and provides another option.I completely agree. There was a distinct chance AM would be complacent thinking he was the #1 with no competition. This will put a lighter up his bum and that is a good thing

Rohan 26
he's got experience and I think he's a decent keeper. only a 1 year deal too, so if it doesn't work out then it's not such a big deal.
BLUEDIGNITY 34,072
Goalkeeper, need cover so give him a chance ! Never believed in spending money for goalies anyway. Being a player your either good or shite in goals , just yer luck !
Frankie 505
Experienced and capable of challenging McGregor and Smith.... Reasonably happy if it frees up funds for a striker and creative player.
ayeready 0
real happy about this one. boy has come home. should be good to have an experienced keeper as a back up so reckon it is a bit of a steal. well done walter
