I doubt we'll sign a target man or a powerhouse striker, pumping crosses into the box isn't our play style. We need a striker that can drop back into midfield when needed.

We have McKay/Windass/Wallace/Hodson on the left. We have Forrester/O'Halloran/Tavernier/Hodson. That's crossing ability right there and imo it's silly not to utilise it by having someone to head them home or to hold it up.

With many players having already left, eight new arrivals so far, and the possible promotion of some of the youngsters in to the first team squad, what does our bank of players look like at the moment?

There's a while left in the transfer market to bring in another few key players, but also the opportunity that some more may leave, either permanently or out on loan.

Who would you like to see moved on, or brought in?

Goalkeepers:

Wes Foderingham     Matt Gilks     Liam Kelly

Defenders:

Rob Kiernan     Lee Wallace     Danny Wilson     James Tavernier     Matt Crooks     Clint Hill     Lee Hodson     Ryan Sinnamon     Fraser Aird

Midfielders:

Andy Halliday     Jason Holt     Joey Barton     Harry Forrester     Jordan Rossiter     Niko Kranjcar     Liam Burt     Tom Walsh     Andy Murdoch   Jordan Thompson

Forwards:

Martyn Waghorn     Ryan Hardie     Kenny Miller     Barrie McKay     Michael O'Halloran     Josh Windass     Mekhi McLeod

bolded the ones i'd like to see go out on loan.   murdoch i'd probably release.

I'd only consider releasing, or selling anyone else if we could get someone better in, in place of them.

We do cross but our style of play does not suit a target man, Nicky Clark was good for crosses and headers but didn't suit our style of play mainly because he has shit technical ability.

I think we will get a target man, remember Warburtons interview before we signed Hodson he said the striker "will add something different we haven't already got". That could mean we either add an absolute speed demon up front or it is a penalty box finisher that can head as well.

We already have a speed demon in MOH, it'll be a player like Bradshaw hopefully.

How many times can these players go out on loan before it hinders their careers? It's time to play them or release them. I'm afraid the latter may apply to the likes of Sinnamon , Aird, & Murdoch. I can see a future for Hardie and Thompson and obviously Burt is still developing.

Hardie and Thomson have only been on loan once it's first team football and a chance to develop so its a good thing.

Barrie was fired out on loan a good few times.  It hasn't done him any bad.

I'd also say Forrester should be a forward. Would rather he played on the wing and I am positive he will be played there considering we haven't signed a new winger and got like 5 new CMs.

In saying that he has also played some great stuff in the midfield 3.  He's a wee gem of a player - touch of class and tenacity
