He doesn’t want to be there, he doesn’t fit into the managers system and style of play and he’s such a big name that the attention is always going to be on him when Ten Hag wants it to be about the team. Yesterday he was 11/1 to join Sporting, seemed to me like it was the only logical place he could go, now down to 5/2 and reports claim his agent has held talks with them.
