Hodson looks far more solid defensively.  Tav gives us more going forward.  A right back's first job has to be getting it right defensively, so I would opt for Hodson at present time.

IMO, the manager should take Tav aside and emphasise the need for him to defend correctly first and foremost.  Being cavalier with attacking fullbacks is fine but not when it's costing you more goals than it's creating.

Took his eye off the ball, literally and figuratively speaking. There is a player there but I'm unsure about his mentality. Its important for a player who plays for a club like ours to have the winning, no surrender mentality. We'd usually have that passed down from previous squads to the newer players we was implementing into the squad. But with us having to climb out of the gutter and virtually have to start again with players who we overpaid for and was bang average, arguably below average and try and implement the mentality that has won our great club so many trophies. Its proving to be difficult. Hence why the players are not mentally tough enough.
