If he’s going to make the grade, he needs to get over the fear of losing, cos it happened anyway.

That is no sort of progress for The Rangers and is not what should be expected or accepted by any of us. How do those who insisted we have progressed feel about the situation now ? The 3-2 game, however, I have no idea why some of our fans think we should have won it. They beat us with ten men and were comfortable for it other than Fredo’s sitter. The game at the weekend was as bad a performance as any of the 5-1 games for me. HG5
285miles 502
agree that yesterday was an embarrasing disgrace but in this context :- 1. 6 years in the champions league and we have 0 2. Selling good players at profit eg van dijk waynama so their curent squad has paid for itself 3. Rodgers one of the better managers in the country who nearly won the epl 4. Any other side in spl. who gets a win against them is a flash in the pan.The sheep's last result against them ? We need a board with 3 times the financial clout than we have at the moment. I agree it is unrealistic to expect us to compete just yet but none of that explains just how bad we are. Most other teams have been able to give a good account of themselves with only the odd drubbing.

We have not progressed from that day - just had some false dawns instead. Even when they were in the state we were in, in the early 90's and 20 minutes from going the wall and were signing shite like Paul Byrne, Stuart Slater, Wayne Biggins, Wullie Falconer, Rudi Vata and we had McCoist, Goram, Gough, Hateley, Durrant, Ferguson, McCall, Steven etc they never once went 12 games without a win against us ... maybe 3 games max, they'd come to Ibrox and beat us on occassion. We are absolutely nowhere near them as it stands. Anyone saying so after the 3-2 game a few weeks ago needs to give their heads a shake.
