A proper golf course though with narrow fairways,water hazard and penalizing rough,compared to the pitch and putt courses they're used to playing on gives them no margin for error especially in the foursomes.

Agreed mate, but you play the course, put the driver away. 

That said they have been missing the fairway and greens with an Iron in their hand. ?

Don’t think I’ve ever seen him putt so bad, and his neighbour keeps leaving him those 5 to 6 foot putts.
