Truth. We’ve been crap in the first 45 so many times it’s almost become a club tradition. When the first Half was dusted I thought “Right then, time to redeem ourselves for that mince in the second 45.” Did we fuck - smh just thinking about it now. Simply diabolical, start to finish.

I think we've regressed from the team that played in the run up to the final and the final itself, based on what we've seen so far. There's still obviously needs to be time for them to blend in fully but Tuesday was certainly the worst team we've put out in Europe since Gerrard's first campaign and that has to be blamed on Gio. 

McLaughlin is a downgrade on McGregor in Europe, 3 at the back made up 2 centre midfielders, Tillman out of position and Colak nowhere near Morelos, Roofe and even Aribo up top. 

We're actually worse off than we were this time last season for the qualifiers because we've got an even harder scoreline to overcome and, yet again, hoping Morelos comes back to save the day.
