CoplandRoad83 3,290
I've read so much criticism of these which for me is way over the top. Gerrard was great at giving media soundbites but Gio strikes me as a doer, not a talker. He doesnt need to rely on rhetoric, he is classy, professional and focused on game plan, and flexible and tactically sound. he also speaks about the facts of the game and tactics, not resorting to rhetoric or throwing players under the bus when things go wrong. Might seem a strange thread to start tonight but its been annoying me for a while, his actions speak louder than words and he is clearly a leader of men, who makes big decisions and inspires the team, and keeps calm. Obviously he wont get it right every time but he has in the big moments. Thats one of the best nights of my life as a Rangers fan, and his leadership was essential. He has so much of the attributes I want in a manager - lets stick together and get behind a man with class that bleeds blue. Popular Post RFC55 109,159
Know wit after the Alfie thing I thought we weakened our postion. After Saturday I thought we were done for in the Psv game. he and the players once again came up trumps, we were unreal, Kamara was unplayable, Lawerence and Kent fantastic, sands baring McLaughlin thinking he was beckanbauer was unreal and colak ran his guts out. im gonae stop buying into the negativity and remembering what this squad can produce Gio and the team well fucking done and we deserved it tonight Buggleskelly, Paisley Blue Loyal, ayro and 3 others
