Mighty Potter I'm very strong on, Luccia probably has the beating of a poor field, I can't have home by the Lee if I'm being honest, I'm allover Blazing Kahl but the ground possibly coming in favour of teahupoo.....Alligorie jumps wildy out to the right so it will be tough to win but she is a class animal when going right handed:tu:

I’m sure if it exceeds it they’ll only let you bet what amount would take it to that

Some bookies do this and it pisses me off.

I often do bets where the estimated return is several million. But I know that if it did come in I would only get whatever their max pay out is.

Whilst most bookies accept this, and on line it reverts to their max once you place it, but some bookies either refuse the bet or try to get me to reduce the stake  or not take the early price.

A while ago I got 6 placed in a ew lucky 63. It paid just over £1k, but If I'd have had to reduce the stake it would have been a fraction of that.

Got a message from a mate who says he's been told by one of the owners to avoid Endless Escape in the 4.50 as it's just having a "prep" run.

Last night it drifted from 25s to 50s and is now 125-1. So it probably is a good idea to avoid it, but just incase somebody is trying to land a touch here I've had a small ew on it.

After all why does a horse that won it's last four races need a prep run.

Could be that they're just running it to have a runner at the meeting and get to use the owners and trainers bar, but it also could be somebody at it.

Strange place and level to send a horse for a prep run

That's what I was thinking. Looking at the rating I would expect it to finish around 10th-13th, and given the last four runs have been wins, then possibly a bit better.

But in the betting it's 18th, with only 3 at bigger prices.

So unless it's had a wind op that also removed a leg, then I think somebody might be trying to land a touch here.

And if I'm wrong I've only lost a few quid which I'll probably find down the back of the sofa
