Boab 73
I would go with.... Gordon Hutton Weir McManus McEvely Ferguson McCulloch (Maloney instead) Lee was rubbish on Saturday, and its sad if he plays on Wednesday IMO Brown Fletcher McFadden Boyd (I can see O'Connor there tbh but would like Boyd) Fingers crossed. port_bear 86
I would go with: -------------------- Gordon -------------------- Hutton ----- Weir ----- McManus ----- McEvely -------------------- Ferguson -------------------- McFadden ---- Fletcher ---- Brown ---- Maloney --------------------- McCulloch --------------------- I dont think we can go into this game with the attitude of deffending for 90mins, we can't make the mistake of camping in our half for most of the game. We need to get forward as well (hit the on the counter attack) and thats why i've opted for McCulloch up top. O'Conner and Beattie are both mung chowder and Boydie just isnt suited to the lone striker so I say we stick McCulloch up there. He is probably the most physical attacking player in the side and can hold the ball up better than O'Conner or Beattie and with the likes of McFadden, Brown and Maloney in the side we should have enough pace to get the support to him when needed. Stuart_RFC 41
I would go with.... Gordon Hutton Weir McManus McEvely Ferguson McCulloch Brown Fletcher McFadden Boyd Fingers crossed. i'd go with that i strongly fancy a draw tomorrow. even the english lads down here think scotland will get something from it

Muff 245
Dont rate McCulloch when it comes to International football, but when he plays for Rangers he is good.

Muff 245
I think we'll either get a draw(1-1) or we will get beat 2-0.

nvager 498
You never know. We have a good defence and a packed midfield - France may be held and/or we snatch a winner - again!!
Stardog 11
2-1 Scotland.
outlaw69uk 123
2-1 Scotland. I dont know why, but, i could see that happening. We seem to have lot of luck at the moment. And I would go with Chambo's team as well. I think Boydies hold up play, especially for Scotland has been a lot better lately, plus, he scores! i think the reason he has got fewer so far this season is due to that, he seems to be involved in most of the Rangers goals this season, even when he isnt putting it the net himself. With Fad just behind him, thats a good "almost 2" up front, with the right traits between them to work I think. :harhar:
port_bear 86
I Think McLeish will only make two changes tonight to the team that beat Lithuania on Saturday... McFadden will come in for the injured Teale and Ferguson will replace O'Conner. ------------------- Gordon ------------------- Hutton ---- McManus ---- Weir ---- McEvely Brown -- Ferguson -- Fletcher -- McCulloch ------------------ McFadden ------------------ --------------------- Boyd ---------------------

excoriate 0
Only reason I can think of playing Hartley is that we're going with 4 in midfield and playing a holder. Caldwell was rank rotten in there against South Africa so either Barry or Hartley are gonna sit behind the 4...

I hope McLeish sticks with Boyd and McFadden, I just think with Boyd sniffing around and McFadden causing problems I can see us getting a wee sneaky goal on the counter attack. Just hope that this would be enough for a win or draw, we need Weir, McManus and Gordon to be all on top form tonight !! F. cuk it i'm predicting a 1-0 win for us tonight, McFadden the goalscorer !! Wonder what Mr Ladbrokes with give me for that double ??
Stuart_RFC 41
Scotland to win 2-1 Ferguson first goalscorer = 250/1 with laddies... hmmm i fancy the 0-0 draw though at 8/1... or if you fancy Boydie to score first and scotland to win 1-0 (if he is playing) its 100/

Your wrong m8, McLeish has already said that he is NOT playing 4-1-4-1 with a holding midfielder, he is going for a 4-4-1-1 with someone just in behind the lone striker (probably McFadden)... It will be a dark day in hell if Caldwell even gets near the starting 11 tonight, Hartley as well for that matter, they are both mung chowder !!
