Cumbria_blue 51
What's the deal with him? He's still injured I take it, but I havent heard anything about him for ages, like "how's he doing?" or "When will he be back?" etc. It's wierd that we never hear about him, like he's the forgotten man or something. Anyone have any news on him at all?
Mad Dog 2
the last i heard was that he had an operation on his knee and it'll be well untill next season before he returns
Davy 68
I'm sure someone said a few weeks ago that he was back in America, and would be returning to Murray Park in the next few months to begin his rehabilitation. I can't remember where I seen it though, or who said it... sorry mate!

Frankie 505
Apparently Beasley will return to Scotland in the next 14 days after his rehabilitation in the USA... He will begin light training then but has been told by doctors not to play again this season.

Cumbria_blue 51
Cheers guys. I just thought it was a while since I'd heard about him, usually with injured players there's always updates on how they're doing with their rehabilitation. Its a shame he got injured because I think we're missing him tbh. He was an out and out winger, who could actually deliver a good set-piece!!

blueben_d 40
he never really got going before he got injured. He hadn't settled yet into the style of the SPL, could be christmas by the time we are seeing him settled - that's if he gets the chances in the team. One thing's for sure we'd be better off with him on the left than either LM or CA

One thing's for sure we'd be better off with him on the left than either LM or CA i agree - he had some good games , i had a feeling there was more to come from him once he fully settled however Lee and Charlie are enhancing his reputation by playing so poorly
The Lad 0
He's seeing one of my mates friends. She said beasley came back from america last week, and his knee is fine... (being the ger i am, i asked how his injury is first, then how they met). was seeing a specialist there.
trueblue87 0
it's such a shame he's out for such a long time. we would have needed his pace and skill on the left more than once this season...

Danny 9
His pace was good, but I'm not sure you're remembering the same DMB I do? One thing he didn't do much of was beat defenders. He was more of an achor on the left. Used the ball well and cut inside a lot, but C. Ronaldo he was not.
GrandSuckMaster 1,775
Is it not a wee bit strange we've not seen or heard from him since that night with the really strong winds?

Jeff crap in the head 120
We certainly do miss him, though this thread is quite the opposite of the threads he was getting when he was playing Amazing how this happens all the time on here.

He was more of an achor on the left. Used the ball well and cut inside a lot, but C. Ronaldo he was not. I agree, but one major thing we didn't do was use him well enough I thought. He had good pace and I would have played the ball in front of him more to chase onto with that pace.
Davy 68
Was just his cautious style that let him down I think. Should have tried to take on his man more - he certainly had the pace and ability to do it!

He needs time to settle. He wasnt performing amazingly well when he was playing, but i do remember him winning a few penalties after some good footwork. Hes very lightweight, but he can still do a job for us. Ves, i also think he will do the job for us. Loads of pace, though unlike Sebo has some talent

My point was he was a great out ball for us and even contributed some goals. He was also not too bad at set-pieces. And even though he couldnt really beat defenders, how many penalties did he win for us?
FlippinEck 3,708
he would thrive in our 4-5-1/4-3-3, we could lob balls over the top for him to run onto when hes further back and the wee man isnt scared to get back and tackle either. we missed him V Lyon at ibrox
