That means there are 21 players in contention for just 11 starting slots and the manager knows there are going to be a few squad members left disappointed. I'd be very surprised if Hemdani doesn't play in the holding role and Davis on the right. Personally I would put Whittaker in at RB, but I expect to see Broadfoot there. IMO Novo deserves to start. I never ever tried to say that either would start but Stevie could have maybe been an option on the bench but DMB more likely to have been on the bench as he was on the bench on Saturday and so must be in Walt's thoughts at the moment but he wasn't in the euro squad list as he was thought to be out until the summer.
