Dado 334
Said it time and time again we don't play when he is not in the team, he carries us through games at times and still gets dogs abuse. We would never have been beaten off that fucking pub team tonight if he was on the park.

HelloMoto 0
Exactly my sentiments. He holds the ball, something those diddys couldn't manage if their life depended on it.
Muff 245
But he wasn't so it was our managers fault for not signing a replacement.
SuperRangers 2
It just shows how far our club has fallen when our team cant operate without one player.

MaD CoW 3
Stop making excuses they are a pub team. The reseves would have beaten them, it Smith who is to blame!
Bazza 21
It shouldn't have mattered, but it feckin does. Spot on Dado, his quality is something severly lacking at Ibrox, and worse, it won't come now either with no European football. :angry2:
True_Blue_Gal 0
I totally agree with this statement, i know a lot of people think he can be mince at tines and yes he can but if he was on tonight i reckon it would have been a different result. snoopyboymason 13
Dont think he was missed that much he was very poor last season and the 2 before that he's finished needs replaced
jackthelad69 0
I have no doubts that if Fergie had been playing, we would not have lost. We have relied on him for years and there has been no attempt to replace him in that time. Shocking F****** management!!

finzster 0
maybe Davis won't sign now FfS That is absolutely certain. Where would the money come from.
azul 0
maybe Davis won't sign now FfS Well it's looking a rather foolish decision not to pay the money and sign him when we had the chance that's for sure.
scott316 2
out all the starting strikers, i still think the 2 Alex McLeish signed are the best, Novo and Boyd. Best midfielder (maybe the only one, lol) Barry Ferguson (who Smith never gave a chance initially) and their best defender is Sasa Papac (who PLG signed). what the hell does that tell you ???!!! BlueSuedeSambas 54,354
Dont think he was missed that much he was very poor last season and the 2 before that he's finished needs replaced Away If you don't think we have missed Ferguson's leadership skills and ability to keep the ball then you are simply letting the fact you don't like him blinker your judgement. We would never have been beaten off that fucking pub team tonight if he was on the park. Why have we not won the league for the last three years then? In particular, why did we literally throw away the league last year if he is such an inspiring, dedicated leader? I agree that Barry was missed tonight but we need one more than one player with a perceived "Never say die" attitude.

He's only led us to 2 cups in 3 seasons it's notr all his fault but i think as a player he's finished a pale shadow of the player he was 6-10 years ago
Stardog 11
I disagree TBH. We still would've lost if he'd played. We played equally shit as tonight in most of our matches last season when BF was playing. Better team choice from the uninjured players we had tonight and a change of formation would've won us this match.
GersDude90 1
I'm amazed we still havent signed another midfielder. Barrys injury is far from a new thing, Walters had much much longer than this transfer window to look for someone else, and he hasnt! Baffeling.. rfc_no1fan 13
If we had signed a midfielder instead of 3 strikers, his absence wouldnt have had as big an impact as it did. However, Walter knows best and thinks that McCulloch and Adam call fill that role
DecoLally 0
How long have we known about Fergies injury? But still SDM and Baine dont get the finger out and sign Davis or CM
