Jelle1880 440
PES 2008 was garbage on consoles. No idea if PC version was any different. So garbage the reviews loved it. Reviews mean f*ck all, big gaming websites get exclusives in order to give the game a good review. I tried both demo's and PES is garbage compared to Fifa. AndyFRFC 10
From past experience, most of the time I always don't like the new version. Only after a bit of playing that you get used to it and notice the changes (mostly for the better)
papaguy51 912
I'm playing the PES 09 demo, I like it, seems more fluid than FIFA. I think the same, its fast and fluid football that ends up with some great goals I am very impressed with the speed of the game as well as the improved passing and movement of players. Roll on October 17th! Fanboi
Scott-RFC 308
This PES demo is awful Which is a shame as its good having two good football games Unless the final game is MUCH better than this the no-one can truthfully say its better than FIFA this year. It almost feels like a lazy, half finished FIFA, not to mention the players looking ridiculous when they sprint Only saving grace is that its definitely better than PES2008
papaguy51 912
Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. The long shots are better than Fifa, and it's easier to beat a man without skill moves, and that's it. The demo of PES '08 was exactly the same as the final product though, and having played the new Fifa all morning, it's easy to say that EA's effort is a far better game. The ball in PES feels like a lead balloon.

I like the download feature for Fifa which allows the in game players to improve via upload as the real life players improve on the real pitch. Thats just immense imo. Stardog 11
The PES 2009 demo is average. Slight improvement to 2008, and only slight. Nothing that couldn't have been done with a PATCH to 2008.

Danny 9
The demo is basically PES2008 with updated teams (albeit Berbatov isn't a Man Utd player in it). Which isn't really a problem for me as I didn't think there was much wrong with 2008. In terms of presentation, FIFA was always better - that will never change. The 360/PS3 version is the one you want to try. Far more fluid than PES 2009.
Neeskens 0
After last year terrible excuse of a football game. Pes must get it right this year or it will be dead in the water. I down loaded the demo and there is some encouraging signs. Hope they get it right this year. Would hate to go another year without a decent Pro evo. Danny 9
Fifa's clunky dirge. Are you Kagemasa Kozuki? I am Truth I just enjoy the Pro Evo games way more than FIFA. And so do plenty of others. It does seem though that there's an arrogance on each side - whichever one you prefer, the other side are a bunch of idiots.
