Mendes and Ferguson have both played well, but Davis and Lafferty (who has been especially dreadful) are offering us nothing. Miller hasnt had the best of games either, his finishing and touch completely off for the most part. On the plus side, Bougherra has been absolutely fantastic. The dictatorial big Algerian has everything. He's the definition of a modern centre half. Papac has also looked more like the Papac that we're all used to. As a side, why the hell did we even consider Reynolds? I didnt think you could find a more overrated centre half than Christoph Berra, but God, Reynolds runs him close. He's absolutely shocking. Too much space in the middle of the park and Ferguson is running about doing nothing - Bougherra just lumps the ball up the park there is no width. Davey_RFC 122 Posted November 12, 2008 Share Posted November 12, 2008 ok first half analysis from me mcgregor-one mistake on good save broadfoot-usual from him hard worker bougherra-solid,pacey,strong one great break papac- looks uncomfortable with lafferty davis-energetic not alot coming off for him fergie-got better as half wore on good last 10 mins mendes-needs to get more involved struggling getting used to gerie lafferty-awful, looks lost boyd-good headers, set up miller twice, unlucky with chance keep it up miller-one great chance should have scored, 2 decent efforts come on Rangers Weir?? Weir's won a few balls, got "intae thum" and generally done well because we're sitting too deep and his lack of pace ain't showing.
