Prso Baffled

Recommended Posts

Strange, it said it everywhere aswell.

Maybe one Source has just copyed from another and so on...

Like I say, I don't know if him staying on is a great idea.

I would like to remember him as a great player for us, not an injured slow guy that sat in the stands.

Walter Smiths...- He's awryt aye but he's not one of the best players and yeah he could guide the younger players to better careers but to me now its just time to let go of him

I think that when he is fully fit he is one of the best players we have, this mabye shows how poor our squad is this season but i think he ca still do a job for us in Europe and big games until the end of the season, then he can decide whether to go or not.

He's a bit of a waste of time and wages a think he should be sold quite soon or put out on loan

Totally disagree with that assessment and he can't be sold as his contract is up in the Summer I believe.

I'd love him to stay and play on. He is one of the few players we have of real quality.

The problem lies in whether his knee can live up to it. Do we really want a player who can only last 50-60 minutes per game? Or can the wages be put to better use?

We have to remember Dado had no pre-season last year. He was at the World Cup and therefore hasn't had a break for nearly 2 years. I think he'll be with us for another season, and he'll be refreshed and better prepared. If he is then he'll be our most valuable asset in the fight to get back to where we belong..........on top!

DADO was good 2 seasons ago, with Novo alongside him. Last season I thought he was average and this season he has blown hot and cold, possibly due to lack of fitness.

He has started more games for us than he did in total for his other clubs. He has not played a lot of football in his career and his knee problem is not wear and tear but a long standing weakness which can only get worse.

This season he has looked slower and has difficulty in turning.

He always gives 100%, but is 100% of his capability enough to merit another season? Passion and effort are not enough if he is not capable physically.

I just feel theres a bit too much sentiment about Prso now.

He's been a decent servant to the club no doubt, but at the end of the day football is a business now and Rangers can't afford passengers.

He has hardly kicked a ball this season, and his knee isn't going to get any better, so realistically how many games is he going to be capable of playing next season?

There is a story on the official site regarding Prso being "baffled" at these reports suggesting he was seeing a knee specialist.

Does this mean that he might not continue after this season or what i am quite confused now.......

He's been an incredible servant for us, and occasionally shows glimpses of his former form, but truth is he's finished, and his body can't take the punishment any more.

If he leaves, which I believe on a playing side is best for the club, I wish him the very best for the future.

I'd rather keep him as a coach or on some kinda management capacity though.

Same here, what a great guy for the youngster to look up to and model themselves on, especially for Alan Gow!

Hopefully he gets a coaching role at the club, he is a legend!

Is everone forgetting he was across in France looking at houses??? Surely if hes looking for a place in France he isnt counting on continuing in a playing or coaching capacity??? He has undoudtably been a great servant to the club but his knees dont seem to be up to playing for another season as much as i would love him to. I hope he gets back as fit as he can for the rest of the season and puts in his usual excellent contribution to secure second place. Maybe then we could accurately assess his true Rangers future.
