Give him the year at least.

Punt Barry, Boyd and a few others

And then win the 1st Division the following season?

Some of the posters here should take a look at the job he's doing with PSG. He nearly relegated them in his first season, and was close to the chop, but now they're flying high in the top flight, in Europe, and with a team with players of the calibre of Makelele in it.

Where are we? Are we any better off now?

We don't have a green grape as manager, so yes, we are better off.

Almost any manager can get 2nd place at Rangers.

Something Walter has managed to do.........running up the debt in the process. He has also loaded the team full of has beens, never was beens, duds and journeymen.

I was talking from a footballing perspective. I don't particularly care if we have a Catholic manager, as long as it's not an Irish one.

ffs does no one see what le guen tried to implement at rangers

does no one remember that we ACTUALLY looked good in europe under PLG

You can see from the responses of the morons in this thread that it's not got anything to do with football or what's good for Rangers.

so you think if plg were t have stayed we'd be in a position where we have to sell first team players just to keep the banks happy?

whatever you sniff at the weekend must be strong as fuck

We would be basically in the exact same posistion but with no experience of the Uefa cup final and with a T*** as manager. You decide

better than having no one worth selling, no money to fix the team and no future for our first team

PLG couldnt possibly have put us in a worse position than we are in the now

PSG are only six points off the pace in Ligue 1 and are still in Europe, so he's not doing too badly, in a league that is miles better than ours. He also has the likes of Kezman, Makelele, Giuly & Traore at his disposal.
