Yes we were, he scored 5 against Boac Juniors and we made a move for him but Bain pulled out of the deal due to the amount of money and Olympics plus the number of agents involved. He went to Birmingham and flopped as Bruce never gave him a chance. I'm sure Villarreal sold him to Genoa for something like £9m? I'm glad we missed out as he's been injury prone.
