Right_To_Censor 1,951
if we haven't been liquidated then that means that the old company was illegally demoted

Some how i don't think that was the plan though.
Right_To_Censor 1,951
The company wasn't demoted, the club was. Don't fall into Timothy's company = club trap.i know i know, its still the same club with history i was born to support regardless of which company owns the assets

Craigie79 67
Surly the oldco cant be liquidated until the claim against Collyer Bristow has been heard?
boss 1,941
Oldco won't go into liquidation for a while yet, and will remain alive (in liquidation) for a considerable period of time, probably years.

TheFarmer 260
If he can somehow keep the oldco alive this would be a good thing obviously. However there would not be two rangers teams, Rangers as a club has been sold to the new company. The only thing that might come out of this would be to transfer the club back the the old company once it is stabilised. I'm doubtful.

sergio 1,199
GDS might have a few screws missing, but I think we all know that this story has a long way to go. Once the court case against CB starts in a few weeks time, things are going to get very interesting.
Guardian 4,281
Unless we win the tax case and somebody pays off all the oldco debt, there is no chance of it making a comeback. Can't see the point of someone paying all that money, even if they were willing to. Bluepeter9 5,167
The oldco is not Rangers. It is a nothing company that has no assets and a lot of debt.correct but (and) it is also the vehicle that will follow through on the fraud cases chasing the whyte cash and deal with any BTC fall out - old co will not be liquidated forbyears yet but is no longer of relevance to us
