Its hard to see any positives at all here. It'll take a lot more than you think to make any of our players play how we need them to play. Kiernan and Halliday will never stop being shite, Wallace and Tavernier will never stop gifting crosses, waghorn garner etc won't just start suddenly scoring goals. Forget Morton for a second, if we don't get 3 points in the next league game I'd forget about us finishing 2nd place.

His signings were certainly random. That's for sure. I remember listening to talk sport when the Barton signing was announced and I was just puzzled. I'd read all the glowing reports on him by pundits but that signing alone just didn't fit in with his previous signings. I could understand the rossiter signing as that's typical warburton-even dodoo was weird in the sense that one minute your getting Barton and kranjcar then the next your signing some duffer from Leicester. Such randomness in signings has caused all our problems

Any shrewd signings will be above the 2 million mark. As we seem to sign English and English players are vastly over priced for some reason. I mean we could quite easily sign some young foreigner from somewhere in the balkans or Scandinavia for half the price of garner and could be shit hot. i don't get the current obsession with trying to shop in the English market especially when the English national side is so shite and we sign guys about 10 levels below that shite and expect them to play pass n move tiki takka

We can't go shopping in league 1 and 2 if we want to topple the tims. That's it really, there's a huge difference in both of those compared to even griffiths

Thing is most guys in the spfl don't have what it takes to play for Rangers. It's all well and good raising their game twice a season but then you watch them in the next game and they're absolutely shite. Out with the old firm all the others play with next to no pressure. Kenny miller would hold down a regular place in every team bar the tims. Can you say that about any other strikers out with the tims? Adam Rooney is probably the best shout at a push but even crumbled in the bigger games

Well never replace miller for a guy out of contract. There's hardly any players out there that will try their hardest even when things are going bad. There's just no desire in the modern day footballer anymore. 1 year deal for me. The alternative is some no mark from league 2 in England that won't even score more than garner

This form is far from random. You don't just randomly have lots of shots on goal and score the 1 randomly. It must've happened 10times at least this season, it's just absolute stinking finishing and decision making. Things that should be learned on the training pitch. Suppose it's random that waghorn can only use his left foot for everything or the dreadful defensive record is just random.. it's not but a man who fails to see his own faults can never correct them

Joe garner.. not good enough I'm afraid.. passes up most opportunities to score simply by being a poor finisher. Fair enough he scored a few goals in a season a few years ago but that is no reason to buy him. If he was a regular scorer for a few years then I'd say the system is to partly blame but he just looks a rubbish player. Be good in a royal rumble right enough

Stuck on 3/4-0 waghorn to grab a few then be utter crap the next game in the league. These games gave us a false impression last season and the pattern has been the same this year whenever faced with lower league opponents.

We'll be stuck with another yes man unfortunately. If you take the Rangers job you need abit of money to spend on transfer fees. Should it take 15 million? IMO no but we have to at least try to spend half to 3/4 of the tims and hope we get a gem or 2
