Never been to twickenham or Dublin, but the millennium stadium atmosphere in Cardiff is probably the best atmosphere I've sampled away from an OF game, was at the Parc du Princes in the 90s and that was pretty good too.

used to watch football games at the millenium stadium and it sounded good, i always wondered if they built it with atmosphere in mind first then everything else after it lol

look at hampden compared it it, utter honking

They had a perfect opportunity to build a national stadium to be proud of, but they fucked that up as well as every other thing. That stadium in Cardiff is brilliant and will stand the test of time. It's bang in the city centre as well, when you consider the constraints they were under due to the old Arms Park and the proximity of the river. They nailed it 100%

Even if they insisted on keeping the Hampden site, with all the shite transport links and congestion that it brings, they should have done the job properly and flattened the whole stadium, including Lesser Hampden, and built a new rectangular shaped stadium in the middle of the site with parking all round it.

Its unbelievable the money that was spent just to rebuild the South Stand, while the other three sides are still basically the old terracing and North Enclosure with seats. FFS they still have grass embankments behind the Sellik End,  you can't walk right round the perimeter to get access, and it's right on Somerville Drive with no chance of expanding it. National Disgrace.

Yeh didn't realise as I am not a rugby fan at all.  Yeh, went to see the Vatican, pissed me off as there were loads of Catholics everywhere taking up all the good viewing positions.
