They mentioned it on sky then at the first corner dembele had a free header and I thought "fuck sake".

It's unreal, the cunt has 2 goals this season against us from corners and we're leaving him unmarked.

Our problems run much deeper than zonal marking

Yes but it is a small problem that can be fixed very easily.

I can only assume we were doing it the full 90 minutes because we certainly weren't pressing or man marking

I think our Midfield were playing hide and seek from their midfield today.

It can work if you have a few good players in the air that will do their best to attack the ball.

When you have our players what you get is people not taking any responsibility and hoping someone else will make the effort.

You're right.

Our players looked like they thought their zone extended only to the bit of pitch they were standing on. Barely even moved to challenge.

Car crash defending.

Your right but it didn't help we lined up with a midfield 3 to their 5. He lad to set the team up to match them the day and faild to do that.

The tactics were all wrong today as we let them control the midfield and sat off them.

Hate it. Allow attacking players a run at the incoming ball and we look like mannequins

Yup. Not a fan at all.

They had at least 3 or 4 half chances from corners where we stood off them and let them have a free run and jump.

Our main problem was width and an out ball IN the 1st half, even when we went forward Our fullbacks were left ISolated and had to turn back as none of the forwards or midfielders ran INto to wide channels to give them an option.

With the way we were set up their midfield should never have had time on the ball, upfront Garner and Waggy are two lazy fecks that should be run ragged at training all week to remind them how lucky they are being at The Rangers.

The zonal marking worked or we got away with IT as they never scored and the header they did get from thevedge of the box was never going to bither Wes. I dont like IT for reasons others have given.

Waghorn worked hard, he was just very unproductive.
