Club1872 Purchase Ashley's Shares

Glad he's gone.

He never had any intention other than using us to make a few quid, he seen an easy opportunity.

He is a fat prick that done nothing but hold us back like so many basically.

This place quite rightfully got ridiculed for the absolute retards that were championing him and wanting him over the current board... was bemusing and still is. The current board are in no way perfect but deserve a great amount of credit.

Anyway onwards and upwards, lets hope Pedro's signings all click and we hit the ground running.

Where are you reading that he made a loss?

He will have been paid for his shares,  has made a chunk of money from us with the retail deal, and will continue for the next year at least to make a minimum of 25% of our retail profits.  I highly doubt he has walked away with a net loss.

Glad he is gone though.

Read on here gogzy ,he sold his shares for total of £2million n they cost him £2.3 million

I was only talking about a loss on these shares nothing regarding  the retail side .

Seems good news on the face of it.

Cant just see Ashley walking away and not making money from this.

Also pretty much ripping up the merch deal. Somerhing doesnt feel quite right

Glad he has limited influence now and the fans have been able to purchase more

I've no idea about it either but it seems to me it was made clear both from the board and the supporters that merchandise would never be bought. I think SD just want out, sell off old stock and make a much higher profit doing it. Who knows if there's fine detail that has some material impact but we've been told by King the contract is only till next year.
