Much as I loved Gough as a player and he is certainly one of our greatest captains , I'm afraid that comment about larsson is stupid (unless he had an EBT). He has a prominent platform to defend the club and that statement actually undermines our position . There is plenty he could have said instead, although to be fair I am going on this one comment and have not read the article. After King contradicting himself this week with a statement from a few years ago and now this from the Rangers ambassador it is about time that prick Traynor earned his money and vetted what's going out. This all day long. The support should leave the Board and the rest of Scottish football in no doubt that we have no interest in breaking bread with our enemies and haters. Having said that,the scum know they can say what they like and thousands of our fans will still be desperate to give them cash next time we meet. This statement also undermines the SFA and the SPFL as their is a clear conflict of interest with Liewell and Riley holding prominent positions. Scottish football is never going to recover when such hate filled bastards are running the game. On the plus side it simply highlights why we should have nothing to do with them

I hate it as well but it is partly due to our apathy and complacency. Until we address that nothing will change. We have Scottish Parliamentary elections next year yet despite everything that has happened and all the 'internet outrage' and bumping of gums there will be few candidates, if any, and no parties that represent us and are worthy of our votes. Away from politics we also need representation in the press, media and organisations such as the SFA. It is incredible that it has come to this but despite incidents such as the despicable acts of scum fans at Dingwall we are still seen as big bad Rangers.

No use wasting time and energy worrying about something that will probably never happen mate. However, if it ever does come to pass it will be the thing that unites the support and the game in this country will never be the same again. Of that I have no doubt. Supporting the team means going to venues and giving money to our enemies. Correct any criticism of EBTs and the rights or wrongs of the scheme should be aimed at the Treasury who deemed it legal and failed to close what many seen as a loophole. The official line seems to be about building bridges but I still want justice and reparations for the scandalous way the club and support were treated. Good post.Regardless of what they do after they hang up their boots we should never forget what our football heroes done for Rangers on the park. They lived our dreams and provided us with great memories and victories. That includes Super Ally, who was a fantastic player for us. As a manager he was a disaster and let us all down with his belligerence and apparent interest in money before the football club but his goalscoring exploits will take a lot to surpass. That's the thing about all this nonsense about EBTs. Whatever happens noone can take away the collective memories of past and present bears witnessing and celebrating 54 league titles being won. It's all about what happens on the pitch.

Kids (and older players) should learn how to play with the ball with their feet,how to head and how to tackle. I don't get why they shouldn't slide tackle.

Namby pamby nonsense from a country where they have real injuries from their national game and they are wrapped up in protective gear from head to toe. Heading is an important part of the game and it is nonsense that kids can head a ball during matches but not training. Sometimes the best and most creative pass has to be in the air to get over a player and headed goals are also an exciting part of the game. Heading is a skill like any other. Blades are more dangerous IMO.

Good post as usual D'Art. Interesting point about the Record leaving themselves open to legal action. I imagine they know, along with the other press and media outlets, that they can attack Rangers safe in the knowledge that nothing will happen. Our support has the numbers and financial resources to cause organisations like the Record and Radio Clyde serious damage. A united support boycotting these companies and those advertising with them would get results. Scotland is a small country and we are forever underestimated due to the fractious nature of our fan base. An attack on Rangers is an attack on all of us yet some fans continue to finance our detractors. The various fans groups should put their longstanding issues aside and preach a consistent message identifying those who harm us and what needs to be done to harm them commercially.

That explains why non Rangers crowds are so low. I thought it was because of the crap football.
