  1. I agree and I used to hate it when we done it in Europe, especially at home.
  2. How is that having a police state? There is a massive difference between flares, suicide attacks and people being offended by singing. The issue with flares can be prevented at the turnstiles. Reporting fellow fans is the biggest load of nonsense ever and the grass a bear hotline introduced by that cunt Bain was a low point in our history.

  4. Perhaps if the police and stewards did their jobs and searched people before they go through the turnstiles this wouldn't be an issue. Indeed after the Paris incidents it is even more alarming.
  5. Scottish football is a shambles run by idiots. I hope that our board fight any reconstruction. For it to be changed after everything we have endured is the final piss take in the haters plan to humiliate us. Dundee United must, if relegated for football reasons, take their medicine. Anything else is an affront to their loved sporting integrity.
  6. Because the police act retrospectively and investigate by video, probably whilst munching doughnuts. They should be challenged on how they are getting them in to the ground and also why no action is taken when the offences take place. Their light touch policing is endangering fans as much as the numpties with flares.
  7. Neither would be a loss. Clark has done nothing to deserve a chance at a higher level whilst Law should have been released in the summer Admittedly he has done well in some games this season in a better team but last season his cowardice, lack of effort and failure were notable as a senior, highly paid player in an underachieving side. He doesn't deserve to be a Ranger.
  8. Rangers friendly journalists and publications are few and far between. The Metro is just one of many. Sad days.
  9. Not one player from the overhyped, self-acclaimed best league in the world. More like the best marketed league.
  10. Nice pics. Good to see Fernando still fighting this horrible disease. What's the story behind the invite from Messi?
  11. The stewards and Police Scotland failed to stop fans going in with smoke bombs and are now looking at video footage, as with the Hibs match, to identify those guilty of sectarian singing. What a waste of time. They should be reviewing their own practices that failed to stop a support renowned for taking banned objects in to grounds. As for the singing, it is beyond me why they don't issue tannoy announcements if 'offensive' singing starts with the threat of a match being stopped, temporarily or permanently, unless it stops if it is such a big issue. I don't think it is a big issue but the media politicians and police obviously do yet nothing is done at the time to stop it or identify/apprehend the naughty singers. Reviewing fan footage retrospectively is surely a waste of time & money especially when it is the scum's away support. They have got away with being the worst behaved away support for years and they think they can behave as they like. Stranraer can be added to other matches in Amsterdam, Dundee and Motherwell not to mention the bottle attack on the 11 yr old bear where justice has ertainly not been delivered. Time for the police to act at games and sort out real crimes of vandalism, disorder and violence rather than wasting time lip reading fans singing songs that offend the MOPES of this country.
  12. Quite although the same was said when we played St Johnstone who Killie put out at the weekend. Hopefully we have learned from that game where tge St Johnstone game plan was the same as most teams at Ibrox, to sit in and catch us on the break. Regardless of what some think, it stands to reason that the quality of individuals playing for top league opponents will be higher than their championship counterparts. I feel we are certainly favourites against Kilmarnock but it will be a tough test and the scum have not been able to beat them this season. It is a good tie for the manager to see how individuals and tge team cope against a top level side.
  13. I would love everyone who attended yesterday to get together to sue him and his paper for libel of us as a support. Ideally the club would do it, especially on the grounds that it damages our corporate brand, but we all know that's a non starter. It would also get this topic to be debated in public and offer an opportunity to establish what is/isn't sectarian and what is/isn't deemed acceptable by the club, the legal and football authorities. I did not hear any sectarian singing yesterday and this gives us a chance to defend ourselves but also address the media agenda against us. I disagree with the point about drawing attention to this in here. A small number will read it in here whilst thousands will read the paper, most significantly advisors to (and) politicians and others who will see it as further 'evidence' of our big, bad, bigoted support. The message and myth will not go away unless we challenge it. The only way to do this is through the courts.
  14. It is a good question. McCoist, Negri and Boyd (1st spell) are probably the most natural goalscorers we have had in the last 30 years. We've had plenty of players who have chipped in their share of goals but these 3 players were expected to score every game they played and at times they didn't disappoint. Waghorn's return of goals and effort have been fantastic and whilst he has scored some great goals the others were great goalscorers.
  15. I know and we also had a service at the statue but I thought it was traditional to allow the home support to pay their respects at the first home match each year.
  16. I know we did last week at Dumbarton but do we not usually pay respect to the disaster victims at the first home game of the season?
  17. Miller is the weak link in the side. Rangers could quite easily have had double figures today with a player that can control, play simple passes and finish easy chances. I posted earlier today that we could do worse than El Bakhtaoui from Dunfermline Miller has had an incredible career - past tense. I would love to see the analysts report or video on Miller's performance today because some of his play was woeful and that is an understatement. 5-1 today and a good performance but it could have been so much more. I have not forgotten he scored a hattrick last week.
  18. Talking about players in Scotland, Rangers could do a lot worse than call Alan Johnston and get El Bakhtaoui in now. The lad is on fire and was excellent against Ross County. I would offer them Clark on loan to the end of the season as part of the deal.
  19. The Board shot themselves in the foot and did our support no favours with their statement. There are much bigger problems in our society than the lyrics of songs sung at football matches. Our support is an easy target but none of the experts has explained how stopping the singing will eliminate sectarianism. Drink is a bigger factor in Scottish violence and sectarianism yet there are no hastily passed laws to ban the sale or consumption of the devil juice.
  20. Thanks, I didn't even think of looking there. I had no idea that our fans have been singing it for so long. I wonder what the oldest footage is of it being sung.
