  1. Is there a joke somewhere in there about Coisty getting bears in America? I'll let you put it together.
  2. Don't complain, just means more money for you when Rangers win the title.
  3. I think buying young players who have a bright future is always good practice, but what we need right now on our tight budget is someone more established. Besides, we only need one striker of real quality to come in. Also, I doubt Webster would knock off much more than £750,000. If DU rate Goodwillie at £2million then they'd essentially be paying for Webster whatever they knocked off the price.
  4. Forgive the wishful thinking but, if he's worth around £300 million, and he (arguably) owes around £60 million in taxes.............maybe he'll still buy the club when this blows over?
  5. Disappointed, but it was never going to happen. Step forward Jelavic!
  6. I was 8 years old. I started up the stairs of the Broomland, the noise of the crowd sounded in the distance. I reached the top of the steps and the sound of the crowd just hit me. It was a cup game against St Johnstone in the Gazza days. We won 2-0.
  7. No, Rapid are waiting to see if they get KOd of Europe... So you don't think he's for sale then?
  8. Is it possible we are waiting to see if we get the extra TV money before making a serious bid for Jelavic?
  9. His second was a stunner! Very impressed with how cleanly he struck it.
  10. Typo - you know what I mean, but thanks for pointing it out. No no, I just thought you were doubting his motor skills.
  11. As long as ours is blue I'm happy. But, I do agree at least the third strip could be a unique team design. Just put Wattie's face as the sponsor for the OF games. Guaranteed 12 points.
  12. Looks like Miller might be suffering an injury (shin splints) so the chances of selling him can't be great right now.
  13. We can't go buying natural strikers who can play wide. We need a naturally left footed left winger who can put in a good cross. As far as I'm aware Ibrox is a wide pitch to encourage open play when SPL teams try to shut up shop. Without wide players we are shooting ourselves in the foot. Surely if there is a few million to spend as reports have suggested then we should first invest in attack minded wide players before looking to other areas of the pitch? I've got more than enough faith in the back line and the central mids. I agree we need a striker but let Lafferty and Naismith show what they're worth this season and simply invest in cover or a young prospect. Keep your millions for the wide areas.
  14. Is 30 million pounds not roughly the same as 45 million dollars?
  15. I reckon Walt has plans for him. We know he enjoys thrift and drafting in a player who could have been a crock is pure thrift. Would I bring him back? Yes, for cover, maybe Europe instead of Weir and to promote a bit of competition for the CB position.
  16. Hi folks, a link would be much appreciated. Thanks.
