Doubt Borna would sign a new deal just to get sold would miss out on a decent sign on fee from a new club this summer if moves for nothing 

I would take anything he says with a pinch of salt, but if this is true then what are we playing at? 
We’ve already got two defenders, who are into their 30’s at the club on long term, expensive deals. Why are we looking to hand out another new deal to another defender who will be 31 when this season ends? 
That’s before you even mention how many flop performances and collapses three of those four defenders have been part of over the past five years.
Should be looking to transition away from all three of them, and yet here we are allegedly giving another one of them a new deal and persisting with a dads army aged defence, which has been exposed a number of times this season already. 

Not sure why people say 'he wouldn't accept shit' when talking about Souness being DoF.
Just so you know, giving the players a slap isn't in the job criteria for a DoF. 
It's a time consuming, complex job.
Can we stop this 'get them up the Gulane sand dunes' approach to modern job roles - please.
