We all see his failings as a manager, but that goes for every manager in the game...we all have different ideas and even Alex Ferguson and Jose can seem to make duff decisions when your sitting on the sofa nursing a lager. Walter has brought this club 9 in a row. He brought us within inches of the European Champions League in 1993. There have been Old Firm victories Galore, Doubles, Trebles and a UEFA cup final under his stewardship. Walter, you have my deepest respect, my highest regards and my unwaivering support while you sit at the helm of our great club. Many Happy Returns Mr Rangers.

I would have thought Ally's hunger and passion for the club was obvious. Im sure he could have made twice the money and had an easier / more glamorous life on telly if he wanted! Winning attitude, YES, 100%, did you ever see him play? Have you watched him on the touchline? Massive experience as a player in the game. Domestically, Internationaly, European Cup, Euro Finals, World Cup....more caps/appearances/goals than most, and European Golden boot winner on top. European Reputation? Yes, Golden boot, European Cup / Internationally prolific scorer. Known throughout Europe as one of the most famous european players of his generation! We all know Weah, Baggio, Asprillia etc from that time...and the europeans know McCoist in the same fashion...a more appealing name when it comes to a manager wanting talks for signings etc!

We dont have the strength in depth with the current squad - although our players on average are 'mid table' players...Walters roar takes some a little higher on the buzz of it.
