There is no way I want to be part of that company. We need out of this shitehole pronto. I don't even care where we go, as long as its has nothing to do with the spl. The SFL is fine, why would anyone ditch that to jump on to a dying horse. We should set up our own league and invite some of the healthier clubs to join us.

It wasn't great- far from it- but that is now TEN wins in a row, so criticism must be balanced.

A bad day at the office but 3 points nonetheless.
We have played much better recently and it's disappointing to see us take a step back, but that happens sometimes.
The main thing is the result and we got there in the end....time to get blitzed and enjoy the new year now bears rather than depressing ourselves here

Just a thought for all those slating Ally (yet again..), just remember he brought Aird and Sandaza on. Sandaza sucked in the defenders there to leave Aird free to curl that one in to the far post. Quality finish. Anyway, I know the doomsayers will not take one bit of notice to this post so I'll let you all get on with being negative. Sometimes games don't go your way and QP have a great record so far this season but we got there in the end. I'll take the occasional scrappy win ever now and again. We won't always score 6 goals every game.

It would not be the first time that they have waded in without good reason. No doubt they felt they had reason, Whether that reason was valid, is another matter.I have personally seen several such incidents over the years, at football and elsewhere. Also, we cannot ignore recent examples that have made national headlines. Ian Tomlinson and Jean Charles de Menezes are such very public and tragic examples in that regard. It would not be the first time that they removed a banner which didn't merit removal.
I recall a match at old Kilbowie during Souness's first season. There were clearly some forged tickets, which wouldn't be difficult to copy given the primitive printing used at that time by such clubs. My friend his father and I got in but couldn't find a seat, so paused to scan for spaces. A policeman told us to move along. At this point my friend's father asked "Where to? I see no spaces." The police told him he would be arrested if he didn't move on, which surprised the old fella. Barely another second passed when the policeman grabbed him by the collar dragging him to the ground. Just as another policeman moved in to assist, a more senior officer who witnessed it all intervened and smoothed things over swiftly.
In the heat of the moment, the police can take some very rash and irresponsible actions.

I can't believe your abject desire to side with anyone other than the people that were there.
Now if i'm right everyone who was there last night in that area has a season ticket, they know who they are and we also know in dictatorship Scotland these guys are filmed for ninety minutes.
So why do they need to wade in?
    Was someones life at risk?
Was there a danger to others within the stadium?
I sit in cr3 so was hard for me to see what was going on. What i do know is these guys in bf1 deserve our praise and support , not fucking condemnation when we don't even know the full facts.

I explicitly did not say that. I was clear about the role of their perception. You're constructing a straw man here.
No.I'm stating that I do not know the reason that they waded in, as you put it, but that many witnesses are emphatic in their view that they did not see anything to justify such action. They may be wrong, but as their accounts are all that we currently have to go on, I shall not dismiss them, let alone assume that all these people are involved in some form of mass delusion or self-deception.

    Yup.
Firstly I don't understand why "handwringers" are getting the blame. Now forgive me if I am wrong but handwringers are the ones that don't sing any "allegedly" dodgy songs. So how in the fuck could it be their fault?
Secondly, there are a good few people in this thread with suspiciously low post counts who are coming on here and trying to make the fans look bad by saying the saw and heard shit. I think most of these posters are tims trying to put the cat amongst the pigeons.
This whole thread should have been about how the police were OTT in their treatment of fans, and have been for fucking months now. Yet AGAIN we manage to turn it into an infighting/mud slinging barny between Rangers fans.
FFS, we are supposed to all be together in this journey and we crumble as a fanbase at the first big hurdle. So disapointing to see the fighting ITT.

Not been on here much but I know one thing, certain posters really do think it's ok for this to happen to rangers fans which is sad enough, but when you don't know the actual facts they still have rangers down as the guilty party, all too often.

I think it's often overlooked that we started last season under strength compared to other recent seasons. Whyte failed to get back up for the the forward area, farting about with fees as in the Goodwillie case. Once Naismith was injured, Jelavic went off the boil and it all descended further. We did however rally after another blip when points were deducted for Administration. That too took the wind out of the players.
He had us playing some good stuff for a reasonable period when he had a full front line. People forget that timmy was praying for administration since they needed 10 or more points. Also, that unjustly disallowed, if understandably so, Lee Wallace goal at Hades could have influenced matters positively. After that almost understandable February dip, he did get the squad back together and on to winning ways to clinch second in difficult circumstances. Overall it was, given those circumstances, an acceptable debut season.
It's an up and down start to a season where we're still building a squad, let alone a reliable first team. Some players had little or no pre-season and others just don't know each other or are just starting their careers.
It's not good enough yet, but there have been positives at home and away to Falkirk. Some patience is still due since, whilst very disappointing today and once previously, there's absolutely nothing lost, other than 4 points.
More players will come, others will get fitter, gain experience or recover and everyone will get to know how to play together.
No knee jerk reactions are suitable yet or even remotely so. Ally will probably get it right soon enough. Given the unique circumstances and his immense contribution recently and over decades, give the man some time. Be critical where appropriate, but only to the appropriate extent. Let's not shoot ourselves in the foot when so many are gunning for us. Unity is the key because we are stronger together and we really have to be at this most crucial point in our history.

Now isn't the time to judge performances, this is still a make shift team. This is the hardest job in World Football right now.
Ally has done amazing to get the likes of Black, Sheils , Little to sign up to play Football in the 3rd Division and will struggle to find players of similar quality. We can't even go to the lower leagues of England for players as the transfer fees/ wages would be too much for our budget.
Agree that the football hasn't been of a great quality but when playing away from home in the 3rd Division I was never expecting to see free flowing football. This team has not had any Pre season and the players/management will need a few more weeks before they truelly understand what is required for the lower leagues.
If we use the defence as an example 2 were making their debuts and Perry was playing only his Second or third game since last season.
I like the look of the McKay/MacLeod but they are young and will be of better use at home, I just feel they are too young to handle the pressure of away games and were bullied far too easily, but over the next few months they will learn.
This is not the time to judge but support and hopefully come October we will see a team that will show some consistency and deliver better performances and results.

I look forward to November, when the same threads get started because we are only winning the games 3-0 and people want 6.
The clamour amongst the majority of the fanbase to go to Division 3 was all well and good, the fact that we seem to think that this could happen but with no short-term problems, no drop in quality, etc, etc, is just bonkers.
Get a grip, and deal with it. This is going to take time, the players who have stayed at the club are still recoving mentally from everything that's happened in the last 6 months, additionally, they haven't had a sufficient pre-season to get match fit quickly enough. The new players have just arrived and haven't settled yet.
We have MONTHS to get this right, it doesn't need to be in perfect shape in August.

I've been to every game but today and Peterhead. Does that make my opinion of today more or less valid? Help me out, I'm confused.
When you have a collection of strangers, deprived of a pre-season and any chance to work on team cohesion and throw them into circumstances way beyond any of their experience then I'm afraid consistency is going to be hard to achieve. I really don't know what the Hell you expect?
As for Ally, he has been manager of a settled team for 6 months during his tenure. We were playing great football at the start of last season and we were streets ahead in the League. Then the rug gets removed from under his feet as his best player is sold to Everton and his 2nd best player picks up a long term injury.....and that's all before Administration when he really was working with two hands tied behind his back. Give the man some time, he deserves at least that.
