  1. and the only chairman in gers history to stab the support through the heart. his legacy at the club died at the uefa trials. I don't believe there was any act on Murray's part that placed the club in the Dock the man had the oppertunity to re-appeal the second conviction. but never .........................now look everything we as a club stand for was QUESTIONED & CHALLENGED under the bigotry banner. shocking night and my life turned upside down. Murray ...is the biggest backstabber to the support , and i dont even have another example to show you's it was that bad. The worst part is that we let people like Britney and whoever else was behind the campaign against us convince UEFA that f****n meant RC. Despite overwhelming evidence to refute this, the club decided not to appeal.
  2. I'm not sure what you mean here. When has he dipped his hands in his pockets to finance a deal in the past? Any money he has put into the club has been through rights issues, giving him an inceased shareholding in th club. He has never personally financed the signing of any player. Well he has sanctioned the splashing of the cash and maybe he may just want to make a classic Murray signing as he did with Colin Hendry, you know the type of signing that an ego boost for him. Think he once called it giving the manager a present. Yes but it is not his own cash he is splashing and the debts we face are increasing (as is the cost of servicing these debts). The bank will have more of a say on what we can spend than SDM will.

  4. If it's the new one you're after they aren't yet available but you will be able to buy it online and it can be sent to Canada.
  5. Despite everything, that has happened in the intervening two decades, and lets get it straight here, the wee man was a tremendous player for us, of that there is no doubt, but the quote above should be recognised ....there are still lots of us who feel that way. Rangers & catholics dont go. Noooooooooooooooooooo This thread is going to turn into a religious battleground Theres no need . I'm simply stating a point of view. As an atheist i have no truck with religion, but a bit of tradition never hurt anyone. That aint tradition, that is bigotry. Rangers football club is a better club for breaking away from this "tradition" and you know it. Unlike the tims, RFC was not build on religious views and this "tradition" was holding us back, since it was broken we have been to a European final and won multiple titles, with plenty of Catholic players helping us along the way Rangers are bigger than that "tradition" But before it we got to 3 European finals and won multiple titles. Put it this way. Do you think we would have achieved what we have in the last 20 years without any Catholic players? Impossible to say but probably not. I personally don't care what religion any of our players are as long as they show 100% commitment to the team and are good enough.

  7. You'd think, wouldn't you. They did include a wee write up on the club site a couple of weeks ago. Even mentions Gers fan Russell Nash RSEA Article Rangers.co.uk Mr Nash and Mr Delmonte will be so pleased. Seriously, Sie and Tom have done so well with this. It's a pity the club wouldn't give them a poppy shirt, particularly considering the cause.
  8. I'm not sure if people missed this at the time but what a disappointing response. Nine replies whilst one about farting at games gets 25. Things are really starting to move with this project and a book called The Gallant Pioneers by Gary Ralston is due to be published within the next few weeks (available to pre-order on Amazon). The unveiling of the plaque will take place in September, there will be a banner and there are lots of other events planned. It's a sad fact that many Rangers supporters wouldn't be able to name the four young men who founded our club yet they will know who founded Celtic. These four guys, without the backing of a Church or businesses, founded what became the world's most successful club. Their stories are poignant, tragic and heart-breaking. We owe these guys a debt of gratitude that we can never repay. Get involved folks, even if it's just a small donation.
  9. I thought that the RST had already made their views on it clear and it wasn't welcoming. Where did this come from D? I've seen 3 board members being disparaging about it, and all 3 brought the Trust into their comments about it. Why bring the RST into it, if it's their own personal comments? I understand Frankie officially wrote to the RST about the report. If subsequently, numerous board members make their feelings clear on it then it would appear that the Trust's view is being given. It seems to me that the merits,or otherwise, of the report are not what is being discussed - which is sad.

The club know they’ll have no problems from such people - indeed one of them handed over a set of internal Trust emails to the club once he had resigned. And the others know of this. Co-ordinated window-dressing. Despite what you seem to think, that is not a response from the RST. Are you saying the RST will not listen to GS and go against his wishes? If it's in the best interest of Rangers FC and our fans then yes, that's what I'm saying.

  13. Already fractured, the RST it seems will take no part in it. I find that incredibly sad. I'm sure those responsible will carry on with 'STS' regardless. As I said, I hope it bears some positive results but wont hold my breath. Cynic Loyal Jim, the RST hasn't even discussed this. I know what you are basing this on but we welcome anything that would make things better for the club and the fans. I share your cynicism regarding anything happening as a result, especially if there are financial implications. Many of these or similar suggestions have been put to the club before to no avail but you never know. You have a PM missus Right back at ya J.

  15. You'll never Wok alone for the Oriental fans.
  16. Where did anyone suggest we won the treble? The evening was to celebrate the 60th anniversary of our first treble win and has been planned for some time.
  17. my post covered my thoughts, the FF site and RST seemingly going hand in hand and how difficult it is to use each "service" so, what makes it off topic? I dare say the ff registration query, which is not in the remit of RM to resolve. It seems though that the clique at the top have acted like the west of scotland labour mafia with their alleged profiteering, lack of info to members and having a top down approach to the running of the organisation. Am I right or wrong would you guys say? i wasnt saying its rm's problem? im linking it to RST being associated with FF alot and both being badly publicized etc i think the RST idea is what the fans need but id also think the members should be elected to each post. Fair enough mate, yeah the members should elect people to the posts, its the democratic thing to do for a start. And yes both do not publicise themselves as well as they could, but what FF do is up to them, as I wont have anything to do with that site which silences debate and punishes those who express an opinion that is not the same as what Edgar, dingwall et al hold.... For information, we currently have 13 Board members who were elected and 6 who have been co-opted. Our rules state that we must co-opt at least 6 people. Everything from the RST that has been posted recently on FF has also been posted here, apart from reports from the Supporters Direct conference, which I will post if there is any interest but it is available on our site. As for 'alleged profiteering' by the RST, I'd love to know more about that as it costs me money to be on the Board. Our rules allow us to claim expenses, none of us do. We recently had a family day where we had 150 kids and their parents at the Wee Rangers Club. All the food and entertainment was laid on free. We could have charged for it but didn't. 150 kids introduced to the Rangers Family (including Broxi Bear) and all had a great day. Profiteering indeed.
