I'd be quite happy to see: MacGregor/Alexander Whittaker Bougherra New CB New LB Edu Thomson Beasley Fleck Aaron Lafferty as our first team. Only needs two new players, and with thomson and edu in the centre, we would no longer suffer other teams walking through the middle of the park, and it would allow the full backs to bomb forward, and the attackers to go all out attack. Papac would do as left back, but i'd prefer someone a bit more attacking.

Good news on both accounts, however I think there might be an element of trying to stop McGregors value from diving to steeply. Hopefully he can get himself sorted out, because it would be robbery if we lost him for 1/4 of what we could have got previously

I think that if he can continue to get forward more often, and work on his final ball, then he will do until kinniburgh or wylde are ready.

Diego Capel, Juan Manuel Mata (although he can also play off a striker) and Jeffren Suarez (I think), although other than Jeffren there aren't any right wingers, so Aaron may get a run out there. Capel already has 50 odd caps for Sevilla, and Juan Manuel Mata is probably the reason that Valencia were willing to let Aaron come to us, especially when they also have David Silva and Vicente who can play on the left

Scott isn't a rangers fan. I was in his year at school (a catholic school), and there were only about three of us that supported rangers. He said recently that all his best friends are rangers fans, but I'm 99% sure he supported celtic. I've no doubt however that he would sign for rangers if he had the chance.

If you watch all of Boyds penalties this season, barring his last one which went straight down the middle, every single one of them has been to his left (right of the keeper). Just a matter of time before the keepers start to recognise this. Fortunately he tends to get enough power that even if the keeper guesses right they usually go in, but surely our automatic penalty taker should be able to mix it up a bit more!?

Not necessarily. If it's true that it's the physical side of the game that he needs to work on then there aren't many scottish teams that are less physical than falkirk. Falkirk like to play football (where as first division teams are more likely to make it scrappy) which i think would suit aaron more. Aah...who am I kidding, he's not gonna start! I really like what I've seen of shinnie in the reserves. Would be good for him to stay till the end of the season, and hopefully once we've trimmed our squad in the summer, he'll be in the first team squad regularly.
