I found this interesting. These are the stats for every player in the top flight in Scotland for this season. Look at the column on the right in yellow which is goals plus assists per 90 minutes not counting penalty kicks. Morelos is 2nd on the list not too far behind Furuhashi who has obviously been playing in a side this season that have collectively created a lot more than us which you would have to imagine would increase his numbers.

You're basing that on inflation. I'm basing it on current transfer fees which are a much better indicator of the current market.
