***The Official Football Manager 2010 Thread***
50ShadesofBlue replied to disgruntled_bear's topic in Gaming
Got myself a copy *wink wink* and it's great. I love the new tatic options, view customisation, grey skin and the 3D isn't too bad. Just beat Munich 3-1 away from home with the current Rangers squad. Half way through the season, dropped into the UEFA, 1st in the league and featuring youngsters like Wilson, Wylde, McMillan, Fleck, Ness, Shinnie and Loy on a weekly basis. I hate the fact that my players think taing a step up is joining teams like Wigan, Stoke and Le Harve?! I'm considering editing a British league with 15 English teams, 4 Scottish and 1 Welsh. -
Anybody missin the Bazza Days ?

We miss him in the centre of the park barking at the other players...big Davie doesn't appear to have the same bite. -

Rangers are woeful. The passing, movement and support is shocking. We'll win this game by grinding out another poor goal but it isn't pretty to watch. They better up their game for the Romanians. -
Here's hoping the Tims get pumped

Is this a potentially stronger defensive line?

Shame Andy Webster can't be recalled in January! He's playing well and so far un-injured. -
If we don't beat Celtic, we're 7 points down and only 7 games in. I don't know if we can rely on Celtic dropping many points this season (especially like last season's second half) and I don't know If Rangers will be able to pick them up with the current squad/form. Pessimistic yes, but I also believe it's realistic to have this opinion. Personally, I think our major problem is lack of competition for the starting 11. do sellik get three more points than us if its a draw or im i right in thinking its still 4 points if we draw Fair enough we may well draw but I'm just basing this on worst case scenario smart arse

His corners are awful...so much for his left peg having good delivery.

Wouldn't expect them to raise much if that's their single...but fair play. -
Who has scored more crucial goals Boyd or Miller ?
50ShadesofBlue replied to BLUEDIGNITY's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Boyd and Naismith could link up well. Naismith can do all the work that Miller can and better as well as be able to score goals! -
The REAL problem with the motherwell game!
50ShadesofBlue replied to Del's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Motherwell's pitch is small which meant there was little room for wing play so the 442 option made sense as most of the play would have to come through the middle. I just wish he hooked Boyd off instead of Miller. Boyd was crap and in close quarters play you need skillful players, something Boyd isn't. At least Miller can go on a through mazey runs now and again. It would of made more sense to take off Boyd, replacing him with Naismith and sub McCulloch and put on Thomo. -

OUTRAGEOUS RED CARD! The Motherwell player was already falling down under his own and Bougie bumps into him and he falls. Possibly a penalty, possibly a yellow...but a fucking red card?! Terrible decision. Rangers were awful today. Never got out of 2nd gear. -

I'd say 8-10 points and it'll be closely fought but we'll get qualification. -
My Football Manager Rangers team was the subject of a £108m takeover by a South American businessman. The debt was cleared, stadium youth and training all upgraded and a budget of £45m. If only...

What an embarrasment! Burley out! -
If I won £60m...I'd donate £20m for new players only. I would demand a box for lifetime and also 45 minutes against an SPL side haha.

Noticed he has his surname tattoed to onto this left wrist...looked pish. Good player though!

Lafferty / Loovens / McDonald Disciplinary Hearings

Disappointed in the Loovens and McDonald decisions...but no real surprise! -
I tend to only sit in the Club Deck...roughly around the halfway line...definitely one of the best views!
