  1. Broadfoot, kerkar and bartley id imagine will all leave the club. dont know the ins and outs of terminating contracts, if your in administration do you still have to pay the remainder of the contracts? that would rule out most big players from leaving
  2. Was a strange move, there was killie fans amongst us all in the queue for the subway afterwards aswell
  3. Genuinely think theres no pressure on him atall this season and maybe next and can see what he's trying to do, rebuild the squad and change the style but i think he's done it wrong. he's got rid of fringe players but kept the spine of the team who wont fit a new style. imo he should of looked to shift terry, lampard etc first to allow him to be in control of the dressing room
  4. They play some decent passing football but we made them look a good side today as much as them being good
  5. i cant get my head around it, papac is a more solid, better defensive player than wallace whereas wallace is faster, better on the ball and more offensive so i cant work out why they arnt played the other way around with papac at LB and wallace LM
  6. People seem reluctant to sing. i was in the west enclosure and it seems like everyone waits for everyone else to start singing before they join in. almost every song that was started in the broomloan only caught on when me and about 8 other people would start singing along with it
  7. took me about 5 reads to work out the mistake! at all the people who still havent
  8. It sounded like more of a positive reaction when she shouted freedom anyway?
  9. Mcgregor - £6m Whiitaker - £2m Bocanegra - £1m Goian - 2m Wallace - £3m Naismith - £5m Davis - £5m edu - £3m Aluko - £2m Lafferty - £4m Jelavic - £7m £40odd million id guess
  10. good proffesional performance and happy with it. everyone good solid 7's with probably aluko as MOTM. thought Fleck was good aswell, did well getting about the pitch and generally good passing switching from flank to flank. Job Done.
  11. Players wearing short sleeved tops and gloves does my nut in.
  12. was at the game and watching it on tv now and its like different worlds. its the first old firm i've been too but i thought we were generally pretty loud all game long, loud enough that i hardly ever heard the celtic fans except the 10 mins after they scored. watching it on tv tho youd think me and my pal were the only 2 cunts in the away end.
  13. Train from croy into queen street afternoonish, get the subway to cessnock or kinning park then heading to some hotel..get loaded with booze and get a supporters bus to parkhead. My first old firm game aswell, buzzing for it!
  14. Agree about davis. i cant see the logic with having him sitting back and Edu supporting when davis is technically better and more creative and Edu is physically better, it seems obvious to me they should be the other way around. good job though, are you going to do them regularly?
  15. i was lucky enough to go and watch and train with SPL players doing their 'B' license for coaching 2 weeks ago and can tell you there wasnt alot of emphasis on slow, gradual build up. i can remember almost all the drills and EVERY phase of play/conditioned game drill encouraged passes direct from defence to strikers or out to wide men for crosses.
  16. Doubt allen will get into the national team ahead of charlie adam for a good few years
  17. Even though im 17 my footballing memory only goes back about 5 years odd so expect a technically shite team! Mcgregor Hutton Bougherra Cuellar Papac Mendes Ferguson Arteta Weiss Diouf (not so much here but in his prime he was a good player) Jelavic
  18. No matter what you do you'd need a massive amount of luck to have a chance. you press really high up and theres a good chance they'll fire 3-4 quick passes together in a few seconds and completely take 4-5 players out of the game. you sit back and defend deep and they'll just pass, pass, pass, pass and pass more waiting for a small gap to appear then with the quality they have they'll punish it. i'd go for a mourinho tbh, defend right on the 18 yarder, narrow with little space between the lines, force them out wide and hope you can hang on. Might just be a case of having to wait 2-3 years until this 'golden generation' is ageing and having to be replaced, although even then they have silva, mata, thiago coming through. frightening.
  19. got high hopes for Grant hanley and Danny wilson as a cb pairing. hanley as a stopper, aggressive player and wilson as the more ball playing of the two. put bardsley at right back and then wallace at lb, although i think like whittaker he's more offensive than defensive which would cause problems.
  20. I think fletchers problem is that at man united he's a bit part player who reads the game, breaks up play and gives it to more talented, creative players. at scotland he's the one who's looked at towards making something happen and he just doesnt have that. seems it's shifting more to Adam having that responsability with fletcher playing more like he does for man u which can only be a good thing.
  21. Comparing the rangers team of the early 90's to the spanish team is absolutely ridiculous! doubt we could of won a world cup and a euro's... I love rangers but the completely biased attitude of some people who blindly put rangers ahead of anything else is outrageous at times
  22. McGregor Hutton Hanley Berra Wallace(if he improves defensively) Fletcher Adam Bannan Naismith Morrison S. Fletcher Fletcher- breaking up play as he does at united, none of this playmaker pish. Naismith- playing just off S. Fletcher
