  1. Sounds about right. PPV should be reserved for the cream. The sport has been marginalised enough. I actually like Khan but this is a dick move on his peoples part, and I hope it Bombs big time. If you want to watch get a stream. Principle. Buying shit only encourages shit.
  2. Don't be fooled by Oscar, his mob talk a good game but are as bent as the rest.
  3. Rangers should appoint lawyers to force uefa and whoever else to define clearly what is deemed acceptable and what's unacceptable, whether it be racist, sectarian or political. Define, define, define!!! Then when this is done we will have a superb vantage point from which to watch poor do-gooder uefa drown in the biggest can of worms ever.
  4. Great player. Searing pace, huge body strength, precise crossing - a great example of the modern winger.
  5. I have to agree with a couple of previous statements, Butch is full of Tom tit.
  6. He is a fuckin arrogant monkey. Most people celebrate when they score, he never looks more angry than when he scores. Kicks boards, pushes cameras, screams obsenities whilst slevering from his ugly chops. A two game ban for what he did is OTT but Fuck him, he's a low life with a god complex.
  7. Would be nice but I think he gets found wanting the first time he steps up to proper world class. He and Katsidis would make for a good fight while it lasted, I think Kats eventually blows him away unfortunately.
  8. I agree, we are getting more like them by the day unfortunately. The media target both clubs to sell papers and both supports focus on the negative, then cry favouritism. We should leave the moaning to the experts.
  9. Hope so. Source? Edit. Looks like dumb dumb just fell for April fools, nice one.
  10. Sounds like he's doing a Charlie Sheen.
  11. Cycling is clearly run and regulated by a proper governing body who generally take decisions for the good of their sport. On the other hand boxing has no such body, instead multiple "alphabet" organisations call the shots and are accountable to no-one. They are poison and boxing survives in spite of these clowns.
  12. Really? In his prime age and weight (lightweight) Duran was almost invincible, widely regarded as the best lightweight in history. Moves up beats leonard silly then gets outboxed and quits. Fights years past his prime in divisions he has no business being in, whilst defeating young lions, despite being only a fraction of the champ he once was. Probably the best lightweight in history, the best Latino in history and likely in most experts top 5 all time. There are a few people on that list who's position could be debated, Duran IMO is not even close to being one.
  13. If he does then sure, he enters the argument. By multiple I mean champion of multiple Olympic games and world championships, i.e many years. At this point though it's only speculation.
  14. Usain Bolt is the greatest ever in an event where the greatest ever title can change hand on a weekly basis. However unlikley, it is still possible that someone beats his world record next week. Bolt could only be considered for greatest sportsman of all time by winning multiple world and Olympic titles and shaving yet more time off his world records. Consistent world domination over many years is a different ball game. When considering track and field you'd have a more legitimate claim by throwing the name of Sergei Bubka into the ring.
  15. When you get some time, go watch the thriller in manilla documentary, it's on you tube in about 6 ten minute parts. Fantastic docu, must see.
  16. Ok sorry, but off the top of my head. Ray Robinson Ray leonard Roberto Duran Pernell Whitaker Willy pep Tommy hearns Marvin hagler Muhammad Ali Joe louis Manny pac Alexis arguello Julio cesar Chavez Archie Moore Ezzard charles Larry Holmes How many is that can't see on my phone, while writing. That's off my head if I had a magazine or something there would be more, probably. Only Jcc and prob Holmes are debatable I'd say.
  17. I hope so. I think it's time Olympic style testing is implemented at least for title fights. Until then every exceptional individual will fall under these suspicions.
  18. Cmon lintino. Your kidding right? Good as he is, Mayweathers level of opponent is way way down on Muhammads. You can't claim to be great unless you defeat greatness. Ali = top 5 all time Mayweather = top 20
  19. Was lying in a recovery room in monklands hospital, 2 days after having my cruciate ligament reconstructed. I had a flat screen at my bed and earphones connected to it. I also had a morphine pump which I could activate almost at my leisure. High as a kite, and in no pain whatsoever, was my best night ever spent in a hospital.
  20. For me there has been a handfull of better fighters in the last 100 years, only a handfull mind. However no-one has transcended their sport as much as the Louisville lip. A huge personality and truly great fighter.
  21. I enjoy seeing the tables turned on Hopkins, It's usually him going over the top in the pre-fight build up. He's already stated in this one, that he feels Pacal might die in this fight, saying he's not exaggerating but that he feels Pascal might be killed. Crass and tasteless as usual. Btw, Pascal is only asking what folk are thinking. 46 year old dude still ripped and competitive with young lions. Hgh is suspected. Take the test B-hop.
  22. The only thing backward here is the rules of international football. Grandparents is a step too far, as every country becomes more and more diluted, people will feel less and less loyalty to the team supposedly representing their nation. It's already happening.
