  1. He'll not go for Foster seeing as he's already said he won't come out of international retirement.
  2. I would say about the inclusion of St Mirren in there that Stewart Gilmour was a pretty much stick on for backing us to stay in the SPL in the case that we went down the newco route. Whilst their fans may think otherwise the likes of Gilmour are appreciative of us for the help we have provided them in the past, and the revenue our supporters bring to them.
  3. Remember and take along those anti-Green banners... whoops thought I was logged into FF
  4. Matthew Lindsay ‏ @MattLindsayET Just spoke to a former associate of Charles Green. Requested anonymity. Told me: "Don't let that man anywhere near Rangers or football."
  5. Is the quantum of his bid high enough?
  6. How's the song go again? We are Rangers, Super Rangers, no one likes us... make a list? Right now there is a lot more to worry about than who's been talking about us in a bad way.
  7. Yeah he agreed a transfer to them in February so will move when the window re-opens
  8. The sponsorship deal with Tennents isn't tied to the JJB deal. Also the JJB deal is, I believe, for the rights to sell in the UK so I there may be an opportunity to sell the strips in the US through Nike stores, seeing as Umbro are a Nike subsidiary. Though who buys a strip based on the kit manufacturer and sponsor?
  9. You do realise your first point relates to another team?
  10. Picking a team from those groups that keeps everyone happier will be a harder job than Stuart Pearce has picking the Olympic side!
  11. Exactly what I heard from friends at Thistle. Said he's a talented boy, but he's far too selfish and showed up with the 'big time' attitude. Dose of humility and a bit more of a team ethic and he'd be a cracking player.
  12. McLaughlin's just said on Twitter that Ticketus are set to announce they will not be helping fund any bid to buy Rangers. Could be what's led to BK stepping in.
  13. Bielsa will be among the favourites in the press and with the betting, though I'm not sure how much the Barcelona board will be favourable towards giving it to him or if he'll even want it as he seems happy in Bilbao and turned down Inter for them previously. Luis Enrique is second favourite behind Bielsa, but again he's not had a great season with Roma and a number of the former B team players will be against him getting the job (was willing to let the likes of Cuenca go). This will be the biggest thing Barca will miss from Pep when he leaves, the ability to spot something in a player that no one else sees and then bring it out in him - Busquets being the prime example. Tito Vilanova is 12-1 with Sky Bet and could be considered as continuity, although he's been unwell this year and the stresses of the job may be too much for him. Out of all the names with odds it is shocking that Benitez and Mancini are on the list at 16-1 when neither have a chance, whilst you can get Michael Laudrup at 25-1 who is definitely worth a punt, as he has been spoken about as a future Barcelona manager and is currently without a job. He wasn't great at Mallorca, although the circumstances there were a major impact and initially he did do really well to keep them up, but won a lot of plaudits for the way he had his Getafe team playing.
  14. I don't understand the thought process behind any club going for him. Too much controversy, will demand high wages, and isn't good anymore.
  15. I'd imagine they'd be presented with the trophy at either Rugby Park or Fir Park depending on where they win it. It is surprising that they weren't given a home game prior to the Old Firm game to parade the trophy, or why the final Old Firm game was not one of the final 2 league games. Then again it is the SPL and how they structure fixtures has never adhered to any type of logic.
  16. We're not in a position to terminate the Ticketus deal or attribute it to one of Craig Whyte's other companies. However Ticketus don't have the rights to claim back all the money (secured creditor would) and as such will now only receive part of the debt owed to them once a CVA is agreed with all other creditors (unsecured).
  17. He looks knackered not gutted. He's just watched his team win the cup final, but there were a lot of heart in mouth moments and then afterwards he's gracious in the win and not ramming it down the oppositions throats. Got his tactics spot on today, and is dignified in winning - good manager. Ally could do with picking his brain over tactics.
  18. Bartley is injured. Official Twitter says it'll be Wallace + 3 from Perry, McCabe, McCulloch and Edu
  19. He is, doesn't matter anyway as he's out the squad with an injury.
  20. If you download Tunnelbear it'll allow you to mask your IP to make it British. Free version gets around 500mb a month, and you can Tweet them for an extra free 1gb every month.
  21. Even though the club you are singing them to support have asked supporters to stop?
  22. Ticketus are not creditors in the same way that other parties we owe money to are, as the money they owed are secured against future revenue streams. As such I imagine that as their money was used to pay off loans of the club that they will be entitled to the revenue generated for the sale of season tickets based on the agreement that Whyte struck with them. Though until the administrators have completed their look at the finances and confirm this then it can't be 100% confirmed.
  23. The deal with Ticketus is not a loan. They have paid money for a set amount of season tickets over a set number of seasons. They now are the possessors of these season tickets and will receive all monies from the sale of these tickets.
  24. Yeah they're in the Segunda, but most of the teams in that division wouldn't struggle to beat a lot of the teams in the SPL (if not all outwith us and celtic).
