webster is always injured, so the other options would be mcculloch or broadfoot and i imagine we will go 4-5-1 for champions league, so mcculloch will be the holding player in the midfield and i would rather have weir in my team anyday over broadfoot but for league or cup if webster is fit then i would rotate every few games.

rangers isnt exactly the best club to bring youth straight into the first 11, hutton, adam and mcgregor took a while to break into the first team and wilson was forced into the limelight due to a lack of centre halfs. i would like it if we sent some 17-20yr olds on loan to 3rd div, 2nd div and then 1st div and start them in the 3rd div as a 17yr old and as they mature as players move them up a division. would develop them as players mentally and physically but would never happen.
