  1. Gazza every time... and that's nout to do with the fact that gerrard's a tw@!
  2. Here's hoping he's not only got some skill and can be of use, but also has the right attitude. Last thing we need is another bawheeded youngster (like how Fleck looks to have become) thinking hes bigger than the club, thus only being used to warm the bench!
  3. Need to keep at the very least - Boyd, Miller, Boug, Davis and Shagger... possibly Edu too, as he has come on alot since his last injury. To clear space and allow for fresh faces, I would be happy to let - Lafferty, Thompson, Beasley and Alexander. As for Wilson... he obviously doesn't want to be here, so let him go for a f***-load of money, and let him sit on a losing teams bench! I like most really wanted to see him stay, until I saw him quoted as saying we was being "pressured" = Oh boo hoo... GTF ya wee bam (imo). =o)
  4. Does anyone know what dirty timmy bampot it was that put the boot in?
  5. I'll thank him for his contribution and wish him well, but even if he does that he won't be leaving as a hero in my eyes. He lost that right the moment he started taking the piss and disrespecting our fans in the way he has been over the past few months. As I said, he should have the decency to tell the supporters who have idolised him and chanted his name for the past four years what he is doing. They don't deserve to be treated with such contempt. I said a few weeks back that I believed that Cuellar was labelled a judas for less, and I still stand by that. I am and hopefully will continue to be a big supporter of Boyd... but I couldn't agree with you more if he does indeed go! I'm hoping his silence is just for loyalty to Walter and Rangers, if not, it means hes been taking the piss for a while. It is his career, but we definitely don't deserve being taken a loan of.
  6. This. And last night when Lafferty miss placed a pass or hit a shot when he should have passed he was gettin dogs abuse, but when Boyd came on and missed the easiest chance of the game you didnt hear a peep from all those that are so quick to give Lafferty abuse. Seems to be one rule for Boyd and one rule for everyone else. Don't know about anyone else, but Boyd didnt cost as much and has done a f*** load more for Rangers than Lafferty has, so he rightfully does get away with slightly more. It's not a witch hunt tho, every true fan wants to see him (like every other player that wear the badge!) do well. Lafferty sadly just hasn't delivered what was/is expected of an attacking option, and by the looks of it over the last 2 seasons, possibly never will! Just my opinion.
  7. Bougherra is not replaceable with any player in the squad already, and i dont think Boyd is easily replaced either Well said mate! I laugh every time I hear someone say losing Boyd is no big loss, technically his goals are the only reason we have had any success over the last few (troubled) seasons! It is of course a team effort (before anyone gets the wrong idea of my rant), and teams mates like Miller, Davis etc have done a great job of supplying or diverting attention away from Boyd to do what he does best. But if we take away Boyd's goals, we'd have had feck all silverware the last two season. I will be absolutely gutted if he goes! Especially as we wont have the money to replace him, and there's F*** all chance of Laffertity filling his boots! Same goes for Bougie, nae money = nae decent replacement. Wilson's a decent player and think he could make a big name for himself, if he stays. But IMO he is the natural replacement for Weir. TBH I never thought Weir would last this long, I even thought the move was a dafter buy than Laffertity (at the beginning). Not based on skill, but age and whats left in the tank... man I have happily been proven wrong! That said, I think we've all seen hes started to slow up a bit this season, and for that reason I'd get him coaching and give Wilson a crack at being a 1st team regular (it may after all be the only way to keep him). I wouldn't be fussed seeing : Lafferty, Beasley, Alexander, Thompson and Webster go. Simply coz who they cover/replace are better! Might then be able to get in a few key players to strengthen what he already got.
  8. Was away all weekend, got back yesterday afternoon and was onto SSN like a shot!.. I think euphoria and much much much laughter best describes the remainder of my Sunday through to now! =o) And that twat Lennon going from "Battlers"/"World class" players to "Being without enough winners" within 2 games is hilarious! That and him wanting (sorry begging) Keane to stay, hahaha what a pair of tits they are. I think its time we plan for a belter of a PaRtY!.. like Manchester, just without the trouble. =o) W.A.T.P
  9. I'd definitely go with the swapping of Thompson for McArthur! imo Thomo hasn't lived up to the hype or produced to the level he was supposed to. If McArthur is blue through and through as rumored... we would get a far better work rate outta him.
  10. whats bbc alba ? where do i find that ? Allegedly - Sky 168, Freesat 110 They say it will be subtitled... if that's true, I hope its a really fast paced game
  11. We play Thomo... which is near enough the same, no?
  12. Hope not... coz hes a decent manager!
  13. hahahaha lets sign him to the back room staff!!!! LOL We should actually do it, if only to wind Septic up! The conspiracy bomb would go off like a feckin' NUKE Not sure who his replacement will be tho... the market is full of managers that are too good for the job i.e Mark Hughes, or ones that they at Pigheid will think are not good enough i.e. McGhee. Maybe George Burley... as his Scotland team was near enough a full Septic one?!?
  14. For the second game running, we looked really nervous, and instead of started where they finished off in the Cup Final, they reverted back to how they started that game. Being completely honest, we were lucky not to have went down by 3 or 4 last night! Fingers can be pointed at players for individual discrepancies, but sadly the main problem last night was with the plan/tactics adopted. Frustrating as f*ck!
  15. Well said mate! It's all just mind games and Eck spoutin' a pile aw pish! Though it maybe wouldn't bother me/anyone, if we weren't having the problems that we are and were able to offer Boyd a decent deal.
  16. It's probably going to be one of the hardest decisions Walter has to make (if he's still the gaffer, when it comes to re-negotiations). Personally, I'd keep him on in a coaching type role.
  17. Lachlan Andrew McMessi William McRooney Finlay McLampard Angus McSong Would be a good start, then maybe a CB...
  18. The team, club and missing fans were done proud by all who represented at Hampden!!!
  19. I would, because he's a prick and a Celtic man. Kenny isn't. There are two types of Celtic player. Those who've played at Celtic and those who've for Celtic. Yeah well said... McGreity would get ripped!
  20. I'm really surprised that you are the first person to mention this! KT was/is a dafty for losing the nut, I'm not saying I don't agree that the ref should have reacted to the buildup challenges, But I could see the challenge coming! It was a rough challenge, but in seeing the replys it not much different to the one McCulloch received! Wilson's send off was a weak imo... was it a goal scoring opportunity... maybe, was he the last man... nope! Regardless, we won! & that is the most important thing! WATP
  21. I'm the first to hold my hands up and say that I have been very critical and vocal on a number of Walter's decisions since his return... But his overall contribution is nout short of legendary! especially the loyalty shown by him, Ally and Kenny recently. Stand and or Statue are well justified
  22. Boyd: IMO He's made the most advancements to his game over the last few seasons, that coupled with all the goals he scores. He is closely followed by: Davis, Bougie, Shagger, Sasa & Wilson who have all been very impressive. Disappointed in: Fleck coz he defo has the ability, but think the star lifestyle has went to his head far too quick. Thompson to me often looks lazy, like he cannae be arsed! Like not closing down, not putting in tackles or tracking back (for our supposed replacement to BF and captaincy he needs to be giving more!) - to be fair, he has recently been putting in the shifts, but the bad still outweigh the good IMO. Beasley coz he has skills, but we rarely see them. And when we do, he gets injured shortly after. Bottom of the barrel (was going to put 'Hate' but he is still our player... for now): Lafferty... (I'm sure most can fill this part in yourselves)
