  1. If this league campaign continues to go tits up and ultimately costs the manager his job, then Wilson should swiftly follow him out the door. Our transfer strategy is bewildering and the January arrivals of Diallo and particularly Ramsey look like nothing more that vanity signings for Wilson to show off his contacts list and put himself in the shop window.
  2. It's actually embarrassing now, we have a 40 year old keeper who can hardly move and can only save shots that are straight at him around head height. I'm completely at a loss as to the managers blind spot here, especially as there's a good chance it will cost him his job.
  3. How Arfield and Kamara lasted 90 minutes is a compete mystery to me, they just slow everything down constantly. And McLaughlin must be howling in training if he still can't get a chance ahead of Mcgregor, that 2nd was a ridiculously soft goal to concede. Can't help but think that was the result that fucked the league today, to go from a chance to make a dent in the goal difference in the second half to throwing away the 3 points is completely unacceptable.
  4. Superb, and we're through on merit, we were the better side for 3 out of 4 halves of the tie. Gio got the changes spot on for the second half and well done to the crowd, that was electric tonight.
  5. Aww fuck off. As soon as he went to the screen that was getting chopped off. Ridiculous.
  6. Even when he miscontrols it the opponent just bounces off him and can't get past
  7. YAAASSSSS!!! Bassey, superb son what a difference from the first half. And great finish from Tav. Just take the sting out of it now please!
  8. Unless we change things at half time Dortmund have got at least a couple more goals in them. Arfield chasing shadows and Aribo well off the pace. I would bring on Sands or Kamara to give some cover on the right hand side and Sakala to run at them and at least give their defenders something to think about.
  9. Half time can't come quick enough. We seriously need fresh legs in the second half, they're walking through us at will here.
  10. Fucking hell... All over the place once again. We might live to regret butchering those two breaks from Arfield and Aribo, can't afford to do that at this level.
  11. Fuck sake... Who's Goldson going to point and shout at for that
  12. Fuckin dancer!! Bet we wouldn't have got that from a Scottish ref
  13. It's every corner now, you can feel the nerves through the whole defence, he actually makes himself look smaller. Got the feeling we might need him at his shotstopping best tonight though.
  14. Just watch now as Dundee are awarded a soft penalty out of nothing against us the next time we play them and the Scottish football narrative will be that these things even themselves up over a season and it makes up for not getting the penalty against the tarriers.
  15. Reminds me of that lad Musonda that the bead rattlers loaned a few years ago and was supposed to come up here and tear the league up. As soon as they experience the 'agricultural' style and pitches up here they can't wait to get back down the road
  16. Unfortunately our goalkeeper is making the opposition set pieces look a lot better than they are. Everything is just swung towards the keeper knowing he's not leaving his line. Against every other keeper in the league that's bread and butter nine times out of ten. Same goes for our corners, the players (i.e Tavernier) probably can't understand why in training a half arsed floater into the middle works every time but yields fuck all in a competitive game.
  17. That 50-50 (that was actually about 70-30 in his favour) that he pulled out of confirmed he's just up here to pull off a few stepovers and party tricks and really isn't up for the battle. The signings of him and Ramsey are looking more pointless with every passing game.
  18. That was a real sickener today and unfortunately the kind of result where titles are won and lost. Madden got the controversial decisions right, as far as his career is concerned anyway. Nothing will be said about the two stonewall penalties and Scottish football will carry on as normal - had he given even one though you know it would have been forensically picked apart from every conceivable angle and he'd find himself reffing in Division 1 for a while. Not even hoping for a miracle from Dundee today, Mcghee will have his team set up for a scudding and no questions will be asked. Major question marks for me though once again over our recruitment policy, the Diallo and Ramsey transfers at the moment are looking like a complete waste of resources that we can ill afford.
  19. A Captains performance from him tonight, completely bossed it.
  20. I couldn't work that out at the time, I thought I must have missed Arfield being offside in the middle or pushing / pulling a Dortmund player back during the build up, but there was absolutely nothing that the linesman could have seen.
  21. Superb tonight, noticeably slimmer and more mobile that when he joined and it makes a huge difference to his contribution. Him and Jack look like they've formed an immediate understanding and have the makings of a pretty formidable engine room.
  22. Hibs under Maloney being a prime example. Owners seem to be equally delusional, thinking that a rookie manager can turn a squad of thugs and hammer throwers from total shite into total football overnight and "challenge" the old firm on a budget of practically zero.
  23. Much like Morelos he looks like he's dropped a bit of timber and is a yard quicker and more agile because of it, deserves to keep his place in the side.
