if our fitness was not up to scratch im sure adam and also the management team would know about it, giving the technology we have and also just seeing them in training every day. giving that most teams we play now usually dictate play and we usually rely on soaking up the pressure and hitting on the break, that means our players cant conserve energy at their discretion because of the constant running around chasing their marker or getting into position while trying to constantly defend.then when we have the ball they are all galloping forward like camels pure fecked.then take into consideration players being rushed back from injury etc. if we dictated play,passed and draged our opposition's defence and midfield all over the place it would look like their fitness was shocking and not ours. our players should not have to rely on a fitness coach to know if they are not in shape. they will know their own bodies better than anyone else and if they were struggling in training then they will get found out during a game,letting themselves and their team mates down.a bit of individual dedication after training has finished is also important in the shape of either additional fitness training,skill work,rest,diet and staying away from alcohol. no way is it adam owen's fault. the scape goats are building up

i never thought that i would say this but after whittaker's recent slump in form and just not being able to defend i hope that big captain kirk gets better soon. david weir should be dropped as with davis,edu and naismith.bring in bartley for weir,hutton for edu,weiss for naismith and healy for davis for a 442 formation. ever player should be on their toes and realise if they play badly they will be dropped for the next match. there should be no such thing as an untouchable at our club, but i know walter thinks and probably knows better.

we need to act like the home team and take the game to them.their defence could be a makeshift one so we should go for that jugular vein and rip it right out of each and every one of them. we have a good selection of forwards to choose from so we should use them.jelavic,healy,lafferty,naismith,diouf and weiss should all be featuring at some point and each and everyone of them should be encouraged to get beyond their shitty defence,unlike on the 2nd jan where their defence could easily have got the deck chairs out. we should not be dwelling on their previous wins over aberdeen as a gauge on how they will do against us.coz the sheep are utter garbage.(tims and sheep in the same sentence ). our players should concentrate on at least showing some degree of ability,grit,determination and more importantly balls. everyone of our players must stand toe to toe with the enemy and show no mercy rangers 2 nil davis,jelavic

welcome mate. agree about tonights game.get at wrapped up early and send out a message for the weekend. confidence should be high with the new signings. also every player should be wanting to impress to ensure their starting place for sunday with us having a few options for defence,midfield and attack.

i think the boy bartley could well partner weir at CH and boughy pushed to right back.would make our whole defence that of centre backs with papac on the left.just thinking that as whitty is defo not as good at defending as he is at getting forward. my thinking behind this is because arsene wenger would not be a happy man if his hot prospect is not getting a game. if walter doesnt play him im guessing there will be a claus arsenal can recall him or arsene will just not give us any other player in the future. then again i wouldnt be surprised if he only gets a handfull of games.who knows?

as i said in my OP i have never sat in the east enclosure. hows your opinion on the atmosphere and view from there mate. as you can imagine i have itchy feet already.

i managed to get a ticket for my first old firm game at next weeks scottish cup game (east enclosure,where i have never sat) and i have been absolutley buzzing ever since. when the game finally comes to an end i'm sure i will never forget the moment and i will have have plenty of fond memories (i severely hope). so i ask my fellow bears! tell us your story.how was your first old firm game and did it live up to all your expectations?

lafferty was always isolated to the point that all he had on when he got the ball was a long shot at goal. naisy and another midfielder in theory were meant to join in attacks with him but the time it took them to get up in support their defence was back in position.
