Thought we were excellent today. Passing and movement was very quick, especially in the first half. Clark should have had a hatrick in the first half an needs to work on his finishing. Daly was very quiet but still took his goal brilliantly. Peralta produced another hardworking performance. His cross for Daly was lovely. Wallace was my MOTM although Mohsni and Law were also brilliant. Should have been 4 or 5 but we'll take the victory nonetheless and another 3 points. WATP
Also lost my uncle to te same thing. Truly a horrendous disease to have. Fernando was a massive hero growing up, a brilliant captain and a true Rangers man. Heartbreaking stuff.
And to compare McCoist and Lennon is laughable. Celtic and Lennon had the chance to win the title at Ibrox - all the motivation in the world to give us a right hammering We were down in the dumps - in admin, out the cup, number of injuries etc. Yet who came out on top?? Think that's all you need to know.
Where does this myth come from that McCoist has been given time ? He's had two full seasons as Rangers manager. The first we spent half of in administration. The second we had no pre-season and a transfer embargo. He's only actually had half a season without any restrictions.
Top Scorer for Hibs in 2000, along with Scottish young player of the year? Basically took Wolves up to the premiership himself with 20 odd goals? Has always been excellent for the national team. (Goals against Germany, Italy, England etc)
It's unrealistic to say that we should be bleeding 11 youngsters to play for us in the SPL when we get back. There's nothing wrong with bringing in players who we know will give a return. I don't think any of the youngsters would be opposed to Millers return.
Terrible footballer ?? You've got to be joking. Fair enough you don't rate him as highly as others but to say he's a terrible footballer is just sheer stupidity.
That would still be possible with Miller in the side. I would have let Little and Black go and bring Miller in for a season at least with the wages. Experience is crucial at this level - especially for the development of younger players. Jig is 35 and scored 25+ last season and is two years older than Miller.
