Sorry mate, i didn't mean it was solely for commercial potential, although i think that is the boards main reason for it. Theres no denying our club have leanings toward unionism although i don't think it is as strong within the club as it once was say 20-25 years ago. Any1 who says that the majority of our fans do not have leanings toward unionism are kidding themselves on.

In my opinion D i think the Union Design on the shirt has probably alot more to do with shirt sales than what way our club leans nowadays. For instance an orange shirt would send sales figures through the roof for obvious reasons. We all know that would never happen nowadays so I dare say the club are hoping a union jack design incorporated onto 1 of our strips would do the same and appeal to the masses.
