  1. Spenny was a very likeable guy and a great laugh by all accounts....I heard a story that he was told to help carry the team hamper out onto the first team bus one day when he was a youngster and he nipped behind the wheel and drove the bus from the front door of Ibrox round to Copeland Road and left it there. Everybody thought someone had stolen the team bus!
  2. It will do for me, big improvement on this years top which I really disliked.....That collar...Urrrgh!
  3. I hope they are paying for their seats?
  4. Not if he is the only one showing ANY interest and if it was in danger of losing power or going bust if he hung onto it he wouldn't.....Cos he would be left with something useless. If there were other interested parties then sure he could tell him to fuck off...but as of yet there isn't.
  5. I agree with you mate...and the thing is you are likely to have a few guys willing to buy your xbox.....Money men fighting over themselves to buy us.....Don't see any. The banner was a major embarressment. Whyte is at least thinking about 'stepping up' other have come sniffing and ran a mile after seeing what exactly they are getting for their money....Whyte is showing caution which tells me if he does step in then we will have a man who will guide the club steadily back to greatness. Good on him!
  6. Walter Smith = Rangers Legend....end of. Walter has put the biggest part of his life into Glasgow Rangers and has always behaved with great dignity and integrity, guiding us through good times and bad. When others are long forgotten Walter Smith will be remembered as one of the Greatest managers in Rangers history and the most successful manager in Scottish football. It will be a sad day for the club when Smith leaves, you don't realise what you have until you lose it. Those berating Walter Smith on here should hang their heads in shame.
  7. I can't believe I'm reading this over the top nonsense after one of our most embarrassing performances in recent memory against the scum. We allowed 10 men to dictate long spells of the game at Inrox with little or no fighting spirit...People are elevating Diouf to hero status after two ok performances and a 'good' interview. Ffs...He was decent on Sunday but no more than that. He didn't let that wee ned Brown rattle him...Good, but i would have rather he got rattled....and retaliated with a hat-trick! Hopefully Diouf will give us one against them next time...Then I'll be glad to join the Doofie fan club.
  8. Totally disgusted by this signing.....Just watch this thug drag our name through the gutter....Unbelievable that we have stooped to this sort of signing.
  9. The boy has massive potential, he lit up Easter Road on Sunday when he came on his touch and speed were exceptional. Hope he is consistant, if he is then he will be brilliant for us.
  10. It's not about appeasing the beggers or anyone else mate....It's about upholding the tradition and respect with which our great club is held around the world.
  11. My thoughts exactly mate. He let us as a club down badly with his silly behaviour.
  12. So your saying Walter see's our future as being a farming club for the EP? Don't think so.
  13. On Sky Sports News earlier this morning it said Rangers deny ANY interest in this guy Holman.
  14. I would settle for the league title and holding our own in the group games of the CL, qualifying for the latter stages isn't a priority for me. Right now we don't have the squad to cope with both the latter stages of the CL and the SPL. WE need number 54!
  15. Gattuso is heading for Dubia from what I heard.
  16. Great Post and my exact thoughts on the scum team We will win the league I have no doubts on that score whatsoever! I agree with your assessment mate.... but the Korean guy cha apparently speaks five languages fluently including English.
  17. Welcome to the site Haven't they changed the surface since then? Thasnks mate! Back then it was the old red ash/gravel pot holes all over the place.....Loved it though!
  18. I played on it almost daily years ago as a kid when i lived in the high flats next to it. The surface didn't bother us back then forty years ago....We just got on with playing fitba. I'll be sad to see it go.
