  1. Something that should have been done ages ago, brilliant to hear
  2. Jelavic for me, Fergie returning is a very close second.
  3. 11 League Titles 7 Scottish Cups 9 Scottish League Cups And a European Final and two trebles That'll do me!
  4. 15th September 1993 We played FK Levski at Ibrox, beating them 3-2. McPherson scored one and Hateley scored two.
  5. He was never going to come in and be an amazing success in his first season IMO. Yes, had we not had the financial problems that we have, I would of expected him to win the league - but that's not realistic in our position. He's has dealt with this turmoil with the utmost dignity and class and with a natural goal scorer I think he has the potential to win our trophy back next season. So yes, I believe he deserves at least next season to prove himself as a Rangers manager.
  6. 1. The fans - I have never been more proud to call myself a Bear. 2. Super Ally - The way he has conducted himself has been outstanding. 3. Every single player - They all took large cuts to ensure our club could move forward. 4. Allan McGregor- Enough said. 5. Aluko and Naismith - See above. 6. Big Jig - His return to form since moving to his natural position has been brilliant to watch. 7. Youth players - It's looking like we have some really talented players coming through our ranks. 8. And of course the two brilliant Old Firm wins at home, and ruining their party. Watching them lose the treble was also very enjoyable
  7. 14th of August 2004 We beat Livingston 4-0. I will never forget the feeling of walking up the steps and seeing the pitch for the first time.
  8. Gutted that I can't make it. But there's a Sportsman's Dinner in Elgin on the Saturday night and some of the legends are coming to do a cookery day at my work. Can't wait!
  9. My first Old Firm was the one in September last year, it was my 18th birthday from the parents. It was absolutely incredible. It's something you will never forget!
  10. Proud of every single one of our players. What they have just done for the club is amazing. Legend isn't a word I like to throw about but they all are legends.
  11. Steven Davis. Steven Whittaker. Allan McGregor. Steven Naismith. Legends. :h34rt: :h34rt:
  12. Not surprised about Naisy. Whittaker has shocked me a bit but it is an amazing gesture by both players. Any player that takes a wage cut to keep our club alive will never be forgotten
  13. Always rated Gregg and really thought he was one for the future. All the best with finding a new club, hopefully it can be sorted out sooner or later
  14. All the best Port Vale. It's a horrible thing for any club to go through.
  15. This isn't the players fault. All they did was sign contracts. As for the pay cuts, how can they realistically be expected to take a 75% cut? Yes they are bringing in mega wages but their bills and expenses probably match that. They shouldn't be the ones paying for others mismanagement.
  16. Don't know how many times I've said this in the past week. Yes the players are earning loads of money but their bills tend to match that.
  17. Of course he has, it's his livelihood. And he probably wasn't on anything near as much as the big earners at the club so a cut might not have been feasible.
  18. That was their tweet about a minute ago. They really are phenomenal at what they do.
  19. Great interview. Would be nice to see him back under a new owner, he seems to have some good ideas to turn the club around and seems very keen on improving our youth system. Well done boys
  20. Very dignified interview from McKay. He could easily have stuck the boot in, everyone else seems to. All the best in Korea
  21. Haven't exactly been Jig's biggest fan over the years. But you can never deny his love for Rangers. Hats off Lee - a true blue.
  22. Sir Walter Smith What a true gent. It's quite clear he's hurting as much as every other bear.
