So what you are effectively saying here is that if we cherry pick three seperate attributes from three of our current strikers twe can match up to the all round game of Cousin. Like I said, better than anything we currently have I disagree, however you want to twist my words to make it sound. I was giving examples of what those three strikers do better than him, not matching up with him.

Slight over exaggeration imo, overhyped for his goals against Celtic. No chance. The guy was a fantastic footballer, who simply had an attitude problem. If it's an exagertaion then tell me who do we currently have who has the combination of pace, power, technique and calmness in front of goal that Cousin had? From what i remember he was a rather heavy runner, not slow, but i wouldn't say he was really fast either. He had some technique, and could score a goal, but if you break them all down, Miller is a better 'run about' player, Boyd a better 'goal scorer', and Novo plays with more passion and energy. If he was so great why hasn't he been snapped up by bigger teams? Hull ffs, and couldn't really make anything of himself there. Noone broke down the door to sign him, half-decent at best in my opinion, we could do alot better than him, and we could do without his attitude. I wouldn't take him back. If we're getting new strikers, i'd rather look elsewhere.

He isn't £85m good. Noone is, that's a joke. If Ibra is worth nearly 80 million, Kaka is worth 55 million and Ronaldo is worth 80 million than Rooney is easily worth 60-70 million. He's so under rated by some people it's unreal. None of those players are worth that, the fact football has got to the point where we are getting close to £100m for a player is a disgrace. Time for wage caps and transfer fee caps i think.
