  1. It was great to have just moved to Glasgow and have a snow day last sunday. I decided to go outside and photograph my flat in the snow. Then i thought that i'd walk down the road, get a few photos, then further, i thought i'd walk down Queen Margaret Drive and get some.. and finally, after a slight bit of getting lost in the Botanic Gardens looking for Kelvingrove i decided, im walking to Ibrox. It took a good 2 hours 30 mins or so, but i enjoyed it. From Maryhill Road (Tesco) up to the large hill that goes right along to Lock 27 eventually, down Bearsden Road towards the Clyde Tunnel, through the passenger tunnel (great setting for a horror movie!) and around the Southern General and finally along the long sweet road to Ibrox. I spent a good hour or so just wandering around Ibrox, and inside looking at the photos in the reception, and finally instead of walking back.. a nice 5 minute tube back to St Georges Cross. Some pictures i got: Expect more every week, i got a nice new lens for christmas (these were taken pre new lens though)
  2. McBoyd has placed a bet on Rangers for 500 Points Home Odds: 4.33/1 Draw Odds: 3.50/1 Away Odds: 1.83/1 More Game Details
  3. Absolute dross, Lafferty has never put in his NI shift for Rangers. He was absolute shite on the night too. McBoydism's. Boyd underperforming-'he could've maybe played a bit better, but you're only as good as the service you get' Laff underperforming- 'absolute shite' He's like your favourite wrestler. :pierre: Like i'm the only one to have said he was absolute shite on the night
  4. Absolute dross, Lafferty has never put in his NI shift for Rangers. He was absolute shite on the night too.
  5. Thats nice for you. Any reasons? Writing 'why is everyone upset?' after losing to Unirea, then spending the next day shopping for Porsches doesn't really scream "we fucked up, lets sort it out on the training ground" does it?
  6. Lafferty. He's got the potential. Now i know (even more) you're taking the piss
  7. What other player for us has one start in europe and then gets told "thats it, no more son.."..? It's not like yesterday was the be all and end all for him in europe, imo anyway. Better players, and strikers have played for us in games where we've been beaten and haven't scored themselves, and not been given the same "game over" rubbish. Imo, he needs a good few games in europe under his belt before you can say "thats it, he can't do it", in fairness, and for experience playing at that level. As most have said, apart from his glaring miss (which he should have scored, i agree) he played quite well, i'd want to see him have a go again. Our main problem is controlling the midfield and defending, i think, with players like Boyd and Miller, if we sorted out the other two, and attacked more often, and controlled a game, they'd be very useful. Until we do that, Miller comes back to defend and Boyd tries but can't do alot with noone there. Anyway enough of that, he should have scored at least one yesterday, but didn't. Thats that, imo he should get more european game time. ... should we ever get any
  8. Whatever happens, i think its clear to see Walter Smith isn't taking us anywhere new, especially with a lack of money. At the start of the season i would have been happy for Walter to stay another year after this, but now, i'd say we need someone new in next season. Fresh ideas, modern football, and better coaching techniques.
  9. We had one. Le Guen. At the time i said he should have stayed, and i'm in two minds now as to what should have happened. His fitness regime may not have agreed with Barry and Co but damn we look like we need it now, imagine what the team would be like with 3 years of Le Guens fitness excercises, i'd say it would have been short term pain for long term gain. That said, he did an awful job of researching the SPL, and thought he could just come and walk it. Like i said, i'm in two minds. The results weren't good enough, and some of his players he brought in were shite, but the long term gain may have been good for us. We have to ask, if another manager like him comes in, will he just be off again if in the short term we aren't good enough?
  10. I can't wait for some decent coaching to come in. From what De Boer was saying after the Scotland defat that time, surely we should be getting people like him in to coach in the background? Players with technical skill, like Laudrup too. Instead it's "hey lads, on twitter last night edu ripped me a gooodenn..."
  11. Don't worry give him 5 months training week in, week out with the likes of McCulloch and Whittaker we will soon knock that composure out of him and replace it with the 'shit iv got the ball lets fuckin launch it' attitude
  12. I can't even take you serious to be honest Good luck with that. You do tho. You fucking know you do as well. Your hero's a dud. I don't, i've not taken one word you've said in these Boyd threads seriously, i know you are on the wind up McCoist is my hero, he's no dud Boyd is just my new favourite player
  13. It's a catch 22 though as we need SPL success to get the European money..
  14. I know, fucking hell that 0-0 draw with Barcelona at home feels like decades ago, i know it wasn't the best "football", but a result it was.
  15. I can't even take you serious to be honest Good luck with that.
  16. Should have been 4-4-2, which is what i thought he'd have opted for.
  17. Some of the marking yesterday was abysmal, especially for their goals. It needs to be sorted, 10 goals against us at home is fucking disgraceful, and something that shouldn't be happening. Fair enough in the past we let 7 past us from the likes of Juventus, but still, abysmal.
  18. Being the Best team in Scotland aka winning the league is the benchmark. I couldn't give a fuck about Europe to be honest. Whilst i agree that winning in Scotland is what we should be aiming to do, i do think we should be at least aiming for Last 16 in europe.
  19. No no, REAL strikers score 100% of their chances You just can't take any criticism shown to Kris Boyd, but your quick to jump on other's mistakes! Had that been the likes of Lafferty, Naismith, Miller....missing that chance last night, you'd have been doging them, and telling us all how Boyd would have burried it. End of the day, Boyd missed a sitter! In the Champions League you don't get many chances, and you have to make the most of them. The best chance fell to Boyd, and he missed it. Apart from that, he played ok. I've said many times since last night that he should have buried it and let us down by missing it. You've obviously missed some of my posts last night. I'm just saying, some people act as if these apparent godly strikers exist that don't miss a single chance, of course you have to take your chances, but people do miss them too. You say that above as if i don't shout "fuck sake" when Boyd misses the chances, of course i do. I do when anyone misses a chance, no matter who it is.
  20. He's just saying what everyone else usually says. Well maybe he should have and we could've found that out. You won't get me to bite, there no point trying
