The trickle down effect of flooding the top divisions of the 4 main footballing countries in Europe with immoral and obscene amounts of cash is affecting the whole of world football from top to bottom.The proposals to increase yet again the participation of moreteams from these privelaged nations just keeps the gravy train ticking over for them while plunging the rest of us into deeper and deeper inability to compete at any respectable level. Even the tarriers, who we constantly hear lauded by a fawning press as being one of the richest , --a player who scores ten goals or whatever withing weeks of joining being punted around as being worth 40m ( ha--excuse me while I take a swig of my new years bottle to compose my mirth )only serves to highlight that we are actually playing in a minor league'. we are observing the decline of football as a major sport in every country bar the favoured few--kids don't really play football any more unless daddy gets them to join a club, drives them all over Scotland to play in kids leagues etc--but I'm sure most of us would agree--the future of the game is gubbed until kids start playing almost every minute of their spare time playing football for fun again.

Found it immensly satisfying that arguably the three best players on the pitch today were Hearts ex;s. Wallace, was immense throughout, Wilson played solid, and grew in stature as te game went on. Holt was more subdued and not as flashy but put in a solid shift and ended up with MOTM.Hearts think they are a LOT better than they are , Beat us on an off night, and went totally overboard thinking this was going to be a dawdle.This kickback mob literally hounded Neilson out the door and brought in a wee boy who I dare say plays a decent game of Football Manager. There is much much more than Richard Gough being illegally defamed on this site If what is said above is true then yes, this so called ' cease and desist ' injunction ' taken out by Gough using lawyers who have never heard of him would indeed seem to be an elaborate ploy to gain a serious amount of donations from the obsessed to fight the non existent lawsuit----classy..

Update on my game - Now in Nov in my second season, finished runner up in the first. Got shot of barton and Kanjkar and miller, and waghorn ( fans didnt like that one ) now this season im 3ed in the leage behing hibs and partick would you believe--tims are four points behind me. Biggest thing is the success of Ryan Hardie who has banged in 12 goals-- great tally for Nov I promoted him from the under 20s start of this season when he came back from loan. Bought a good BWM called Coady and a decent CD called Jordan Spence and a Jamie Murphy who has yet to properly gel yet-----this was made possible by the board getting a 76M loan and giving me a 35M transfer budget at start of 2nd season--Ive still got 25M left-- despite the money I'm still struggling to get real quality players to come to Scotland. Sitting third in Europa league group==other teams are Chelsea, Karasnapor ?? sp--and Young boys. have confidence I might finish 2nd--Im looking to Improve the defence--any tips ?

Bought the FM17on its release date ( 4th Nov) and launched into a Rangers manager game, hell, its tough going, injuries seem to pile up, seems in the game we have no real quality in defence. Barton and Krancjar play Ok but suffer long and constant injury, Holts decent,McKay is good, Garner excellent, Waghorn decent. But I think the secret to getting a good start is to fill the staff postions with good staff (What the hell is a data analyst by the way ? ) Rossiter and Windass showing good potential, Crooks not so much. I fourth in the league at Nov in the game, been beat twice by the Tims (once 5 -1 ffs ) other time 1-0 with a pen. If I can survive into my third season I reckon our younger players will come good. like a poster above I,m struggling getting tactics to fit our mix of players.

wasnt the best from us but Motherwell showed a bit of composure in their passing today, pretty well organised performance from them if the truth be told. What a difference from the absolute disinterested shambles they decided to put on against The Unwashed.
