Regardless of all other factors how often on recent years have you walked out of ibrox and thought 'we were really good today'? It's just not good enough that we cannot pass or cross a ball. It's not good enough that we fail to develop youngsters, its humiliating that Blackpool get our Youth player fit and quickly develop him into a qualiry player Good luck to Ally I really hope he turns it around however if we are ever going to play good passing football designed to win rather than not lose and maybe make a wee dent in Europe the entire regime needs to be changed IMHO.

I do not get where he us coming from. He said something along the lines of 'i do not know what the agenda is'. It's not complicated we are trying to sign the player on a pre contract. It's normal, allowed and we told them our intentions. He seems to be implying we are up to no good like this pre contract strategy is a unheard loop hole we have discovered. Suppose what he may be thinking is we want him now but if we get him to sign pre contract we can knock the price down ? Was that the case with Bedoya?

Not doubting you have met a fool but having lived nr London for a few years I am well placed to say they are not all like that. Try walking into many bars in Scotland and you will hear similar,more sinister drivel about our club. A recent poll I seen somewhere recently named man u and rangers as the most hated clubs in the UK Doesn't take a genius to work out why. They hate us because they envy us. They are inferior and can't live with it.

Another youngster we have failed to develop as a player. As Chris Burke scored again today I noted he has played around 100 games over the last couple of seasons. We could barely get a 100 minutes a season out the guy. Blackpool took about a stone of Charlie Adam and in a couple if years turned him into a absolutely quality player. OP I think we need to take a staggered approach but agree there needs to be fundamental change in the way the club is run and that is not a reaction too last night. We have almost become conditioned with mediocrity. Over the last 20 years football has transformed and I reckon we have not. Ok we do not have the resources of the big players around Europe but Ffs it's just not good enough that so many of out players lack basic technical ability, it's not good enough that we cannot cross or pass a ball effectively, it's a discgrace that we rarely develop young talent with Charlie Adam being a case in point (and I will admit I was not a fan of his however Blackpool were able to take weight off him and play him in position ), it's totally unnacrptable that St mirren IMO gave us a lesson on how to pass the ball. The list goes on and on. We have had good times with Smith mccoist durrant etc however we have stagnated and for me a complete change in coaches/management is the answer with absolute priority being given to get the right youth coaches in to develop our youngsters. When I say the right coaches I mean guys with a proven track record (Sevilla/Ajax spring to mind as having great academies). I do not think we have a right to win every game and recognise we need to be realistic around our expectations however we can also expect not to be beaten by some of the dross we faced in Europe this year (and previous years) and it should be a given that we have tactics better than one up front at home and a model were a under performing player does not feature week after week. Is it too much to ask that we play a player in his natural position? Is it too much to ask that we have a squad where at least a couple of players can cross the fucking ball? Sorry lads bit of a rant but I am fed up with it. Just my opinion of course but we have completely stagnated. Every year we see teams around europe with limited resoures yet look fit and able whilst playing good football. Why not/never us?

Stating the obvious but team selection and tactics will determine the outcome. We have the players to go across there and win no problem. The problem is we too often set up not to lose rather than win. Get fucking right into them. We must attack the bheast to defeat the bheast.

So frustrating. Appealing a deserved red card to ensure a shocking player can start in the biggest game of the year. I have really lost confidence with ally over his insistence in playing this guy. I so hope Mculloch proves me wrong and ally right but I just cannot see it.
