He has failed at being a striker, left mid, centre half, hard man and midfielder. He simply is not good enough and slows our game down when the ball goes near him. Worse than that we eventually stop playing the ball through the middle and push it wide or hit it long (at the wrong times) to avoid putting it through the midfield. Having said all of that, if the manager plays him the manager is 100percent accountable (and he will play him).

You can almost guarantee we will set up not to lose, sit off them allowing them to retain the ball and build confidence (Scottish cup against ten men last year?), whilst firing long balls at our striker who has the wrong midfielders half a pitch away from him to support. Agree bud but once a player repeatedly fails to carry out the instructions or consistently displays a lack of ability to do so it becomes the managers fault if he continues to put him on the park. Edu being the perfect example.
