Pretty sure talking to a player or his representatives while he's under contract and has over months left on his contract is illegal. No point paying over the odds for him when we can get better value elsewhere.
Considering how rarely corner balls being fired into the box actually result in goals I think short corners are the way to go. Also the opposing team is as likely to break and have an attack on your goal if you just fire it into the box.
Always thought that Jean Claude Darcheville doesn't got the credit he deserves. He played a big part in getting us to Manchester in 2008. Ran himself into the ground every game though, I think the UEFA cup final was the only game he played 90 minutes in for us
How's he treated us with contempt? By playing badly? Law had a good game today. Made some tackles, move the ball around well, and got forward. A pretty reasonable performance altogether.
